Sharp pairs its new AQUOS 4K Google TV with The Arena tower speaker

The JJ5000X brings Google TV and a choice of screen sizes up to 85 inches. The Arena TS-2010P-BK adds 200W RMS audio and karaoke features for movie nights, gaming, and get-togethers.

A bigger TV can make a living room feel more like a home theater, but picture quality is only half of the experience. Sharp Philippines is bringing the two sides together with its new AQUOS JJ5000X Series 4K Google TVs and The Arena TS-2010P-BK tower speaker.

The pairing is designed for Filipino households that use one setup for more than watching shows: family movie nights, console gaming, streaming music, and the occasional karaoke session. Sharp is positioning the products as a matching entertainment setup, though they can also be considered separately depending on your space and budget.

AQUOS JJ5000X: five screen sizes, up to 85 inches

The JJ5000X Series comes in 50-, 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes. That range gives buyers room to choose based on their viewing distance and living-room layout, rather than defaulting to the biggest screen available.

Sharp says the TV uses its V8 Revelation Processor to optimize picture performance in real time. Alongside 4K UHD resolution, the processor is intended to improve detail, color, and clarity. Those are manufacturer claims; actual results will depend on the content, picture settings, and room conditions.

Google TV brings supported streaming apps and content into one interface. For fast-moving content, Sharp lists AQUOS Smooth Motion, plus ALLM and a 120Hz High Refresh Mode via HDMI for gaming. The release does not specify the panel’s native refresh rate, so buyers comparing TVs should confirm the exact gaming behavior and supported resolutions with Sharp or the retailer before purchase.

The Arena adds sound—and karaoke

The TS-2010P-BK The Arena is a tower speaker rated at 200W RMS. Sharp also lists a 26,000W PMPO figure, but RMS is the more useful rating to focus on when comparing audio products; PMPO figures are not directly comparable across brands.

The speaker includes a karaoke function with microphone support and adjustable echo and reverb. That makes the setup more flexible for gatherings: it can support movie and music playback, then switch to karaoke without needing a separate system. Sharp describes the design as “Elevated Design, Exceptional Sound,” while the practical question for buyers will be how the speaker sounds and connects in their own room.

One setup for movies, games, and get-togethers

The idea behind the launch is straightforward: the AQUOS handles the visuals, while The Arena supplies a more substantial sound setup. Together, they can turn a living room into a shared entertainment space, whether the plan is a weekend movie, a game with friends, or karaoke after dinner.

The TechBeatPH take: the JJ5000X and The Arena make sense as a flexible home-entertainment pairing, especially for households that want one room to handle streaming, gaming, music, and karaoke. The key details to verify before buying are the TV’s exact HDMI gaming modes, the speaker’s connectivity options, and the final local price.
