As students prepare for the new academic year, Acer has launched a new back-to-school campaign in the Philippines aimed at making laptops and desktops more accessible through discounts, installment plans, and extended warranty coverage.
Called the “Bag of Deals” promo, the campaign runs until July 19, 2026 and covers a range of Acer devices built for schoolwork, content creation, and gaming.
Acer targets students with productivity-focused laptop deals
The latest Acer back-to-school promo highlights practical incentives for students and parents looking to upgrade devices ahead of the school year.
Participating products come with up to ₱10,000 in eGift vouchers, 0% installment plans for up to 18 months via Home Credit, an additional ₱1,000 discount for Home Credit transactions, and an extended three-year warranty on selected devices.
Acer positions the promo around long-term usability, particularly for students who need dependable devices throughout multiple school years. All purchases made during the promo period are eligible for eGift vouchers redeemable until September 19, 2026.
Acer expands competition in the Philippine student laptop market
The Philippine laptop market typically becomes more competitive during the back-to-school season, with brands offering bundled software, accessories, financing options, and warranty extensions to attract students and young professionals.
With the “Bag of Deals” campaign, Acer is leaning heavily on after-sales support and financing flexibility rather than purely spec-driven marketing. The three-year warranty, in particular, addresses a common concern among students and parents investing in higher-priced productivity devices.
The move also comes as hybrid learning, remote collaboration, and creator-focused workloads continue driving demand for more capable laptops beyond basic entry-level hardware.
Promo covers laptops and desktops for productivity and gaming
Acer said the promo includes selected laptops and desktops across multiple categories, targeting users with different needs such as everyday school productivity, online classes and remote work, creative workloads, and gaming and entertainment.
While Acer did not specify all participating models in the announcement, the company’s current Philippine lineup includes devices under the Aspire, Swift, Nitro, and Predator series.
The promo is available nationwide through Acer Concept Stores, Acer Authorized Resellers, and the Acer Philippines Online Store.
Acer to hold mall activations for ‘Bag of Deals’ campaign
Alongside the online and retail rollout, Acer will also hold mall activations to promote the campaign and showcase participating devices.
The first scheduled stops include SM Mall of Asia Cyberzone (May 16 to 17) and SM Fairview Cyberzone (May 23 to 24).
Additional mall locations are expected to be announced through Acer Philippines’ social media channels.
The “Bag of Deals” campaign reflects how laptop brands are increasingly combining financing offers, retail experiences, and extended support services to attract students ahead of the school rush.
