ASUS Business Philippines has introduced the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra to the local market, positioning it as its flagship AI-powered business laptop for executives, enterprise professionals, and decision-makers. The launch also highlighted ASUS’ broader commercial ambitions as the company targets becoming the Philippines’ top commercial PC brand by 2028.
The announcement took place at Okada Manila, where ASUS Co-CEO Samson Hu made his first official visit to the Philippines alongside regional and local executives. During the event, the company revealed that its commercial business in the country has grown by 85%, now accounting for 27% of ASUS’ total Philippine business.
ASUS ExpertBook Ultra introduces AI-first business computing
The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra enters the market as a Copilot+ PC designed for AI-assisted productivity and enterprise workloads.
Built around Intel’s latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the laptop combines CPU, GPU, and NPU resources into a single AI computing platform capable of handling modern productivity tasks, local AI workloads, and enterprise applications.
ASUS says the device delivers sustained performance through a 50W thermal design, allowing the processor to maintain higher workloads without significant throttling.
The company is targeting executives, business leaders, and professionals who require high performance in a highly portable form factor.
Lightweight chassis meets flagship hardware
One of the standout features of the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is its lightweight design.

Weighing just 0.99 kilograms and measuring 10.9 millimeters thick, it is among the lightest commercial laptops introduced by ASUS to date. The chassis is constructed from AZ31B magnesium-aluminum alloy using CNC machining and finished with the company’s Nano Ceramic Technology coating to improve scratch resistance and durability.
Despite its slim profile, the ExpertBook Ultra houses a 70Wh battery, which ASUS says can deliver up to 26 hours of battery life under supported workloads.
The laptop is also equipped with an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor, Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics, a PCIe Gen 5×4 SSD, memory with up to 9600MT/s bandwidth, the ASUS ExpertCool Pro thermal system, and a Whisper Mode that keeps operating noise below 20dB.
Tandem OLED display and complete connectivity
The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra also introduces ASUS’ first 14-inch 3K Tandem OLED touchscreen in its commercial laptop lineup.
The display features a 2880 × 1800 resolution, supports a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz, and reaches up to 1,400 nits of peak HDR brightness. According to ASUS, Tandem OLED technology improves panel longevity while reducing power consumption compared with conventional OLED displays.
For multimedia and hybrid work, the laptop is equipped with Gorilla Glass Matte anti-glare protection, a Dolby Atmos six-speaker audio system, a spill-resistant keyboard with 1.5mm key travel, a haptic touchpad, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C ports, USB Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
AI productivity and enterprise security
Beyond its hardware, ASUS is positioning the ASUS ExpertBook Ultra as an AI-focused platform for business users.
The laptop comes with the MyExpert AI suite, which includes AI ExpertMeet and a local Knowledge Hub designed to improve meeting efficiency and workplace productivity without requiring additional subscriptions.
For enterprise deployments, the ExpertBook Ultra incorporates security features such as NIST SP 800-193 compliance, a self-healing BIOS, a physical webcam privacy shield, fingerprint authentication, and IR facial recognition.
These capabilities complement Microsoft Copilot+ PC while addressing the security and management requirements commonly found in enterprise environments.

ASUS expands its commercial PC ambitions
The launch of the ExpertBook Ultra comes as ASUS continues expanding its commercial business in the Philippines.
During the event, company executives outlined plans to strengthen ASUS’ position in the enterprise PC segment over the next two years, with the ExpertBook Ultra serving as the flagship model for its growing ExpertBook portfolio.
As AI capabilities become increasingly integrated into workplace computing, ASUS is joining other PC manufacturers in introducing dedicated AI business laptops that combine local AI processing, premium hardware, and enterprise-grade security in a single device.
