Skyro Partners with ECPay to Expand Nationwide Loan Payment Access in the Philippines

Skyro is making loan repayments more accessible across the Philippines through a new partnership with ECPay, expanding both digital and over-the-counter payment options nationwide. The move aims to simplify how borrowers settle their loans by bringing payments closer to communities while reducing transaction costs.

The partnership strengthens Skyro’s push toward more inclusive digital lending services, especially for users outside major urban centers who rely heavily on physical payment channels.

Expanded Payment Network Across the Philippines

Through ECPay’s infrastructure, Skyro users now gain access to a wide network of payment touchpoints nationwide.

The expanded network includes over 462,000 over-the-counter (OTC) payment locations, 16,000 kiosks, and more than 90 digital payment options.

These channels cover both metro areas and provincial communities, making it easier for borrowers to pay loans without relying on limited banking access. The integration reflects the continued expansion of digital financial services in the Philippines, with Skyro leveraging partner infrastructure to improve repayment convenience and accessibility for its users.

Lower Fees for More Affordable Loan Payments

One of the key benefits of the partnership is reduced transaction cost for borrowers.

Skyro payments made through ECPay now carry a ₱20 service fee, lower than other channels that may charge up to ₱25. The reduction aims to ease the overall cost of repayment, particularly for frequent users managing multiple payments.

Multiple Ways to Pay: Digital and Over-the-Counter Options

Skyro and ECPay support both online and physical payment methods, giving users flexibility depending on their location and preference.

Digital payment channels include GCash, PalawanPay, and CLiQQ. To pay online, users simply select SKYRO under the Loans category, enter their registered mobile number, and confirm payment details.

Over-the-counter payment locations include 7-Eleven, Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Express, Prince Supermarkets, and LCC branches.

Users can also pay through any ECPay partner outlet by filling out a payment slip with their Skyro-registered mobile number and payment amount, reflecting the broader push of Skyro to expand accessible repayment options through both digital wallets and physical retail networks powered by ECPay.

Strengthening Financial Inclusion Through Lending Access

The partnership reflects a broader trend in the Philippine fintech space, where lending platforms are expanding offline and digital integrations to improve financial inclusion.

By combining Skyro’s digital lending platform with ECPay’s extensive payment network, the collaboration aims to reduce friction in repayment processes while improving accessibility for borrowers across different income and geographic segments.

Skyro said the initiative aligns with its goal of making financial services more convenient, affordable, and user-friendly for Filipinos nationwide.

With expanded payment channels and lower service fees, Skyro and ECPay are positioning loan repayment as a more convenient and inclusive financial experience. The partnership highlights the growing role of embedded payment networks in improving access to credit services across the country.
