The OPPO A6s 5G comes with a 7000mAh battery, designed to support extended usage across entertainment, communication, and productivity tasks.
OPPO claims the device can deliver up to 29.73 hours of YouTube playback, 10.57 hours of video calls, and more than 24 hours of continuous calling on a single charge. The focus is clear: reduce charging frequency and extend daily usage cycles.
Fast charging and reverse wired charging for multi-device users
Alongside its large battery, the OPPO A6s 5G supports fast charging and reverse wired charging via OTG.
This allows the device to function as a power source for accessories such as earbuds, smartwatches, or even other smartphones. The feature reflects a broader trend in midrange smartphones shifting toward multi-device ecosystems.
OPPO also includes 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support on select variants, helping reduce downtime between charges for users with heavy daily usage.
Battery durability targets long-term smartphone ownership
Beyond capacity, OPPO is emphasizing battery lifespan through its “5 Years Durable Battery” system. The company claims the battery can retain over 80% capacity after 1,800 charge cycles.
This positions the A6s 5G as a long-term-use device, addressing a growing concern among users who delay upgrades and rely on smartphones for several years of continuous use.
Pricing and availability in the Philippines
The OPPO A6 series is now available in OPPO stores and online platforms including Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Local pricing for the OPPO A6s 5G is set at ₱22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and ₱25,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. Promotional discounts run from May 15 to 31, offering up to ₱2,000 off on select variants.
The lineup comes in multiple color options, with the A6s 5G available in Ice White and Cappuccino Brown.
