Pre-order pricing and promos for vivo Y31d

The vivo Y31d enters the market with multiple configurations designed to suit different budget tiers:

The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₱12,999, the 6GB + 256GB model at ₱15,999, and the 8GB + 256GB version at ₱17,999.

Customers who pre-order can receive up to a ₱3,000 discount, 6-month broken screen insurance, and a free vivo backpack for 256GB variants.

vivo is positioning the device toward field workers, delivery riders, commuters, and users who prioritize battery endurance and practicality over premium camera systems or flagship-level performance.

7,200mAh battery leads vivo Y31d durability push

The standout feature of the vivo Y31d is its 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery paired with 44W FlashCharge support. vivo claims the device can last up to two days on a single charge, with added support for reverse charging.

Battery longevity also extends to long-term usage, with the company stating the system is designed to maintain performance over several years of use. This positions the device among the larger-battery smartphones in its price segment.

Built for harsh conditions with IP68 and IP69 protection

Durability is a key selling point of the vivo Y31d, which carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also includes a one-tap water ejection feature designed to help remove residual liquid after exposure.

Beyond environmental protection, vivo also emphasizes structural durability, with SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification and Military-Grade Shock Resistance testing. The device is also said to have survived repeated drop and roll-over simulations.

Taken together, these durability-focused features position the Y31d toward users in demanding work environments or outdoor-heavy lifestyles, a segment that is often underserved in the budget smartphone category.

Display, performance, and camera setup for everyday use

The vivo Y31d runs on a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, which delivers a reported AnTuTu score of over 540,000. While it is not positioned as a gaming flagship, it still includes Game Boost mode and bypass charging to support longer, more stable play sessions.

The device features a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,250 nits, designed to improve visibility in various lighting conditions. For photography, it is equipped with a 50MP main camera that also supports underwater shooting.

Audio performance is handled by stereo speakers with up to 400% volume boost and a dedicated game audio mode for more immersive gameplay. On the software side, it runs OriginOS 6, which adds productivity and utility-focused features to the overall experience.

vivo targets durability-first users in budget smartphone segment

With the Y31d, vivo is reinforcing its presence in the entry-to-midrange category by focusing on battery endurance and physical durability rather than camera-heavy or performance-centric marketing.

The strategy reflects a broader shift in the budget smartphone market, where manufacturers are increasingly differentiating devices through real-world usability features such as battery life, water resistance, and repair protection instead of raw specs alone.

The vivo Y31d is now available for pre-order at authorized vivo stores and partner retailers nationwide until May 15.
