2026 GAC EMZOOM Launches in the Philippines: Specs, Features, Pricing Revealed

GAC Motor Philippines officially introduces the 2026 EMZOOM, bringing updated styling, improved in-cabin technology, and added comfort features to its subcompact crossover lineup. The refresh builds on the model’s growing presence in the Philippine market, where the EMZOOM has already moved over 8,000 units.

With two variants—GB and R-Style—the latest release targets buyers looking for a balance of daily usability and sportier design, while strengthening GAC’s position in the competitive subcompact crossover segment.

2026 GAC EMZOOM specs: Engine, performance, and platform

The 2026 EMZOOM continues to be powered by a 1.5-liter TGDI engine paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It delivers 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque, providing a balanced mix of performance and efficiency through its 7-speed WDCT setup.

These figures position the EMZOOM competitively against rivals in its class, particularly in terms of torque output and transmission efficiency—both critical for urban driving and highway overtakes.

Interior upgrades focus on connectivity and comfort

One of the biggest updates in the 2026 EMZOOM is inside the cabin, where GAC introduces a larger 14.6-inch multifunctional touchscreen across variants.

The 2026 EMZOOM features a 14.6-inch infotainment display at the center of its cabin, offering a larger and more immersive interface for drivers and passengers. It also supports wireless smartphone integration via Android Auto, making connectivity more seamless and convenient. In addition, the system comes with an improved user interface and enhanced connectivity features for a smoother overall in-car experience.

Higher trims of the 2026 EMZOOM further enhance comfort and convenience with a ventilated driver’s seat for better cabin comfort during long drives. It also adds a 50W wireless charging pad for faster and more efficient device charging. It also features advanced parking assistance systems that help improve maneuverability and ease of parking in tight spaces.

GB vs R-Style: What sets the variants apart

The 2026 EMZOOM lineup is split into two distinct identities, catering to different driving preferences and feature priorities.

The EMZOOM GB, priced at ₱1,059,900, comes with a “Star Diamond” grille design, along with practical features such as auto-sensing wipers, a frameless rear wiper, automatic headlights, and a seatbelt reminder system.

Meanwhile, the EMZOOM R-Style, priced at ₱1,159,900, takes on a sportier approach with its Black Edition grille and 18-inch wheels. It also builds on the core features with added comforts and tech, including a ventilated driver’s seat, 50W wireless charging, Integrated Parking Assistance, and Blind Spot Video Driving Assistance.

The GB variant leans toward practicality and everyday comfort, while the R-Style adds visual aggression and more advanced driver-assist features.

Pricing, colors, and positioning in the PH market

The 2026 EMZOOM enters the Philippine market with an indicative starting price of ₱1,059,900 for the GB variant, while the R-Style variant is priced at ₱1,159,900.

Buyers can choose from a range of exterior colors, including Graphene Grey, Ivory White, Moonlight Grey, and Superstar Silver.

At this price range, the EMZOOM competes directly with other subcompact crossovers, where design, tech features, and after-sales support often become key differentiators rather than raw performance alone.

Ownership package and after-sales support

GAC is reinforcing its local push with expanded after-sales infrastructure to support customers beyond the initial purchase.

Ownership highlights include a vehicle warranty of up to five years, along with two years of free roadside assistance for added peace of mind. The brand also continues to grow its presence with a nationwide network of 30 dealerships. They were supported by a dedicated parts warehouse in Manila to ensure better availability and faster service.

The brand also follows its Global Sales & Service Way (GSSW) standards, aimed at improving service consistency and ownership experience—an area that continues to shape buyer confidence in newer automotive brands.

Why the 2026 EMZOOM matters

The 2026 EMZOOM reflects a broader shift in the Philippine automotive market, where buyers expect more technology, safety features, and refinement at the sub-₱1.2M price point.

By combining a refreshed design, upgraded infotainment, and expanded driver-assist features, GAC positions the EMZOOM as a stronger contender in a crowded segment—especially among buyers prioritizing tech and everyday usability over brand legacy alone.
