LG Electronics Philippines strengthened its presence in the country’s hospitality sector through a two-day industry event in Subic Bay Freeport, where it showcased display technologies designed for hotels, event spaces, and business facilities.
Held in partnership with Wordtext Systems Inc. (WSI), the Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce, and the Subic Hotel Association, the event brought together hotel executives and decision-makers to explore how digital display solutions can enhance guest experiences and hotel operations.
LG highlights hospitality technology for modern hotels
The event took place from April 23 to 24 at the Lighthouse Hotel, bringing together around 110 participants, including CIOs, CFOs, hotel executives, and other hospitality industry leaders.
During the showcase, LG Electronics presented a range of business display solutions designed for hospitality environments. The lineup included Hospitality TVs for guest rooms, LED wall displays for indoor and outdoor installations, and Interactive Digital Boards for meetings and small functions.
The demonstrations highlighted how these display technologies can help hotels enhance guest engagement while modernizing meeting venues, function halls, and shared spaces.
Display solutions extend beyond guest room entertainment
LG positioned its hospitality portfolio as more than traditional in-room televisions.
The company highlighted how Hospitality TVs can provide a customized guest experience, while its LED wall displays can be deployed for digital signage, branding, and event spaces. Meanwhile, the LG TR3DQ Interactive Digital Board was presented as a solution for business meetings, conferences, presentations, and collaborative sessions hosted by hotels.

As hotels increasingly diversify into meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), display technologies have become part of broader investments in guest services and business facilities.
Event strengthens partnerships with the local hospitality sector
The event also underscored LG’s collaboration with local industry organizations and channel partners.
Working alongside Wordtext Systems Inc., LG engaged directly with hotel operators in Subic to discuss practical applications of its commercial display portfolio and gather insights into the evolving needs of hospitality businesses.
The partnership with the Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce and the Subic Hotel Association helped bring together key stakeholders responsible for hotel operations, technology investments, and guest experience initiatives across the region.
LG expands its business display presence in the Philippines
The Subic event forms part of LG Electronics Philippines’ broader efforts to grow its commercial display business across industries beyond consumer electronics.
As hotels continue investing in digital transformation, interactive meeting spaces, and upgraded guest services, demand for commercial display solutions has expanded beyond traditional televisions. Through initiatives like the Subic hospitality showcase, LG is positioning its hospitality technology portfolio as part of that modernization effort while strengthening relationships with business customers across the Philippines.
