Huawei has officially introduced the WATCH FIT 5 Series in the Philippines, positioning the new smartwatch lineup as a health-focused wearable that combines sports tracking, medical-grade monitoring features, and AI-powered fitness coaching.
The series will be available in the Philippines starting May 22, with early-bird promos already rolling out across major e-commerce platforms.
Premium build meets lightweight everyday wear
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series highlights a redesigned premium build, especially in the Pro variant, which uses titanium alloy materials and sapphire glass for added durability.
Key design features include a 1.92-inch 2.5D sapphire display on the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro, titanium alloy bezel construction, ultra-light 30.4g body weight, and aerospace-grade nanoceramic metal used in the White edition. This is designed for users who want durability without added bulk, making it suitable for both daily wear and outdoor activities.
Expanded health tracking with ECG and risk monitoring
HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series continues pushing deeper into health-focused wearables with expanded biometric tracking tools.

Features include continuous pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, temperature-based women’s health tracking, ECG app for heart monitoring on the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro, and long-term sleep and vital sign tracking.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro also introduces a non-invasive diabetes risk study feature, which analyzes vascular signals and health data patterns over several days to detect potential risks.
These updates position the new smartwatch closer to hybrid wellness devices rather than traditional smartwatches.
AI-powered coaching and fitness ecosystem expansion
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series introduces AI-driven fitness tools designed for both casual users and active athletes.
Key features include AI coaching for personalized workouts, “mini-workout” guided routines for short exercise breaks, over 100 sports modes, and automatic tracking for activities such as running, cycling, and golf.
A notable addition is support for pickleball tracking via the PickleX app, which measures performance metrics such as swing counts, heart rate, and calorie burn. It surely focuses on making fitness tracking more accessible for everyday users while still delivering advanced sport-specific data for enthusiasts.
Outdoor sports support targets active users
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Pro expands into more advanced outdoor use cases. These includes trail running, cycling route tracking, golf analytics, and freediving support up to 40 meters.

The device also integrates with third-party apps such as Komoot for route syncing and navigation, strengthening its outdoor ecosystem and positioning it for more serious sports and adventure tracking use cases.
Huawei is also integrating additional health and fitness services through its App Gallery ecosystem. Users can access apps such as FiiT (fitness training platform), Life Period Tracker, and Komoot route planning.
These apps are supported through OTA updates and can be downloaded directly to the watch, expanding its functionality beyond basic fitness tracking and positioning it as a more versatile health and lifestyle companion.
Pricing and launch offers in the Philippines
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series will be available with multiple launch promos across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Huawei’s official store.
Key offers include ₱1,000 early-bird vouchers on e-commerce platforms, up to ₱2,700 discount via official online store deposit promos, free HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2 bundled with the Pro variant, a 3-month Huawei Health+ subscription, a 1-year extended warranty coverage, and additional app subscription perks and memberships.
With its combination of health monitoring, AI fitness coaching, and premium materials, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series reinforces Huawei’s push into the increasingly competitive smartwatch and wellness wearable market.
