OPPO has announced a phone-and-tablet pairing for Philippine users centered on the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G and OPPO Pad SE. The company says the two devices are intended to support moving between capturing content, reviewing files, working on projects, and entertainment through O+ Connect.
The release positions the phone as a creative device and the tablet as a larger screen for organizing information and completing tasks. For students, creators, and young professionals, OPPO’s stated proposition is a workflow that moves content between the smartphone and tablet rather than keeping each activity on one screen.
Camera tools and content transfer

OPPO says the OPPO Reno16 5G has a 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, 50MP Ultra Wide Camera, 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera. Its listed creative tools include Pop Cam, with Digicam, Instant Film, and Light Leak looks in the native Camera app, as well as AI Remix Collage and Motion Photo Popout 2.0.
The company also lists OPPO Bubble with Camera Remote View, which lets users remotely preview and control the smartphone camera. OPPO says the feature can be used for group shots.
O+ Connect is the link between the two devices. According to OPPO, it supports file transfers, screen mirroring, and drag-and-drop content sharing. The release describes possible uses such as moving class materials to the tablet, sharing project files, and transferring photos or visual references to a larger display. OPPO also says the phone’s iOS Bridge capabilities make sharing with compatible iPhone devices more convenient.
Pad SE display, battery, and AI features

The Pad SE has an 11-inch Immersive Eye-Care Display, an anti-reflective matte screen, and TÜV Rheinland certification, according to OPPO. The company says its 9,340mAh battery supports up to 11 hours of video playback, while 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging is intended to reduce downtime. OPPO lists the tablet at 7.39mm thin and 530g light.
On the software side, OPPO says AI Mind Space on the phone keeps project references, travel tips, and content ideas in one place. Study Assistant taps Gemini, Perplexity, and ChatGPT to help users research topics and compare responses, according to the release. On the tablet, OPPO says Google Gemini can be accessed with a long press of the power button, while AI Assistant for Notes and AI Intelligent Document support report writing, note formatting, and file translation.
Philippine availability
OPPO said the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G is now available in the Philippines through the OPPO Online Store and OPPO Stores nationwide. The OPPO Pad SE is available through OPPO’s official Shopee store from ₱13,999 in Twilight Blue and Starlight White.
The company’s release presents the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G and Pad SE as complementary devices: the phone for capturing and gathering material, and the tablet for reviewing, organizing, and developing it on a larger screen. More information is available through [OPPO Philippines](www.oppo.com/ph/).
