Xiaomi has launched the REDMI A7 Pro in the Philippines, marking the first “Pro” variant in its A-series lineup. The device targets entry-level users seeking larger displays, longer battery life, and updated software features at a low price point.
The launch strengthens Xiaomi’s push in the budget smartphone segment, where competition continues to intensify among brands focusing on display size and battery endurance.
REDMI A7 Pro features 6.9-inch 120Hz display for everyday entertainment
The REDMI A7 Pro comes with a 6.9-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, positioning it among the larger screens in its segment.
It also supports up to 800 nits peak brightness, Wet Touch Technology 2.0, and TÜV Rheinland eye-comfort certification, aiming to improve usability for outdoor viewing and extended screen time. The focus remains on practical everyday consumption such as streaming, browsing, and social media use.

6000mAh battery targets multi-day usage and long-term durability
The REDMI A7 Pro comes with a 6000mAh battery designed for extended use, with Xiaomi claiming up to two days of usage on a single charge depending on usage patterns.
Usage estimates include up to 49 hours of calls and 35 hours of video playback. The device also features a rated 1,000-cycle battery lifespan, retaining over 80% capacity over time to support long-term ownership.
This aligns with a growing trend in budget smartphones prioritizing battery longevity over raw performance upgrades.
HyperOS 3 brings AI features and cross-device integration
The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS, marking its debut on the REDMI A-series through HyperOS 3 under Xiaomi.
It introduces AI-powered tools including Google Gemini integration and Circle to Search, along with Xiaomi HyperIsland for multitasking and cross-device connectivity features. These updates aim to bring midrange-style software experiences into the entry-level segment.
The REDMI A7 Pro is available in multiple color options including Black, Mist Blue, and Palm Green.
Pricing in the Philippines is set at ₱5,599 (promo price) for the 4GB + 64GB variant and ₱6,599 (promo price) for the 4GB + 128GB model.
Xiaomi confirms the device will be available from May 22 to June 30 through its official retail channels and online stores.
