Xiaomi Expands After-Sales Network in Philippines with New Iloilo Service Center

Xiaomi has expanded its after-sales footprint in the Philippines with the opening of a new Exclusive Service Center in Iloilo City. This marks its second service facility in the Visayas region.

The move strengthens the company’s local support network as demand for its ecosystem of smartphones and smart devices continues to grow.

The facility is located at Madrid Building, Plazuela de Iloilo in Mandurriao and is designed to provide faster technical assistance and repair services for Xiaomi users in Western Visayas.

Strengthening after-sales support in Visayas

The Iloilo service center is part of Xiaomi’s broader push to improve the accessibility of after-sales services outside Metro Manila. By expanding into key regional hubs, the company aims to reduce repair turnaround times and improve customer convenience.

The new center provides in-person technical support for Xiaomi smartphones, wearables, smart home devices, and other ecosystem products.

Key services include device diagnostics and repairs, warranty processing and replacements, technical support for smartphones and AIoT products, and access to authorized parts and servicing.

Standard warranty coverage across product categories

Xiaomi also reiterated its standard warranty coverage across its product lineup, with terms varying depending on the device category.

Coverage includes a 1-year warranty for smartphones with a 7-day replacement window. Meanwhile, Xiaomi covers accessories such as adapters and in-box items for 6 months. For Xiaomi TVs, the main unit carries a 2-year warranty, alongside a 6-month warranty for accessories.

Eco and AIoT devices, including vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, and wearables, are covered by a 1-year warranty for main units and a 6-month warranty for select accessories. Monitors, meanwhile, are covered by a 3-year warranty.

Consumable and cosmetic parts remain excluded from standard warranty coverage. The structured warranty system reflects Xiaomi’s effort to standardize after-sales service across its expanding product ecosystem in the country.

Expanding nationwide service footprint

With the addition of Iloilo, Xiaomi continues to scale its service infrastructure across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The company now operates multiple Exclusive and Authorized Service Centers nationwide.

Exclusive Service Centers are located in Cebu, Davao, Lipa, Dagupan, Pampanga, Quezon City, Taguig-BGC, Manila, and Iloilo. Authorized Service Centers are present in Bulacan, Pasig, Albay, and Quezon Province.

This network expansion supports faster repair cycles and improved access to official servicing. This is especially in provincial areas where logistics can slow down device support.

After-sales service as a competitive strategy

The expansion comes as competition intensifies in the Philippines’ mid-range and budget smartphone segment, where brands increasingly differentiate through ecosystem support and service reliability rather than hardware alone.

For Xiaomi, strengthening after-sales infrastructure is key to sustaining its growth in the local market. This is as its AIoT and smart home product ecosystem expands beyond smartphones.

By improving service availability in regional cities like Iloilo, Xiaomi is positioning itself closer to users who rely heavily on fast turnaround times and accessible technical support.

Building a long-term user ecosystem in the Philippines

Xiaomi’s continued investment in service centers reflects a broader strategy of building long-term user retention through ecosystem support, not just product launches. As its portfolio grows to include smart TVs, wearables, and home devices, after-sales service becomes a critical part of the user experience.

The Iloilo Exclusive Service Center reinforces this direction, ensuring users in the Visayas region gain more direct access to official support without traveling to major urban hubs.
