LG Electronics Philippines and Addessa Corporation brought free laundry services and household assistance to 211 families in Brgy. Magliman, one of the communities in San Fernando affected by flooding.
The initiative processed approximately 1.6 tonnes of laundry while also providing free appliance service check-ups, relief goods, and laundry essentials to participating families.
The activity brought together LG’s Laundry Love program and Addessa’s Project Care on Wheels, a corporate social responsibility initiative focused on supporting communities affected by calamities.
Free laundry services reach flood-affected families
Flooding can disrupt basic household routines, including access to clean clothes and functioning laundry facilities.
Through Laundry Love, LG provided families in Brgy. Magliman with access to its washing and drying equipment at no cost, helping them address one immediate household need while recovering from the effects of flooding.
The program handled approximately 1.6 tonnes of laundry throughout the activity, serving 211 families from the community.

“Laundry Love is rooted in a simple idea: technology can be most meaningful when it helps address real needs in people’s everyday lives,” said Nakhyun Seong, Managing Director of LG Electronics Philippines.
Seong said the partnership with Addessa allowed the companies to bring practical assistance closer to families, from clean laundry to essential goods.
Addessa adds appliance support and relief assistance
The collaboration extended beyond laundry services.
As part of Project Care on Wheels, Addessa provided free service check-ups, giving participating families an opportunity to have their household appliances inspected as they worked to restore their daily routines.
LG and Addessa also distributed relief goods and laundry essentials to families during the activity.
By combining the two programs, the companies provided several forms of assistance through a single community-based initiative.

Laundry Love continues its community program
LG launched Laundry Love in 2018 as a free laundry service program designed to support communities, particularly during times of need.
The initiative has since reached communities across the Philippines by providing access to LG washing and drying technologies.
Its latest activity in Brgy. Magliman brings that program together with Addessa’s Project Care on Wheels, extending assistance to a community dealing with the aftermath of flooding.
For the 211 families served, the initiative addressed a practical household need while providing additional supplies and appliance support.
The 1.6 tonnes of laundry processed during the activity also reflects the scale of the assistance delivered in a single community, demonstrating how access to basic household services can form part of disaster-recovery efforts.
