Dunk City Dynasty has added former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Metta World Peace to its roster as part of Season 9 Vol. 2, which is now live.
The latest update brings the former Los Angeles Lakers champion into the NBA and NBPA-licensed 3v3 streetball mobile game, alongside a new Cavalry outfit and the return of seasonal content.
Metta World Peace brings defense to Dunk City Dynasty
World Peace joins Dunk City Dynasty with a playstyle built around the defensive strengths that defined his NBA career.
The former NBA Defensive Player of the Year helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the 2010 NBA Championship, and players can now use his defensive abilities to disrupt opponents and create opportunities on the other end of the court.
Players who recruit World Peace can also earn additional rewards and seasonal bonuses throughout Season 9 Vol. 2.
New Cavalry outfit arrives
Season 9 Vol. 2 also adds the Cavalry outfit, giving players a new cosmetic option for their streetball characters.
Meanwhile, the Season Journey event continues from the previous update.
Players can collect match trophies and unlock milestone rewards by progressing through the event. Dunk City Dynasty also does not impose a penalty for losing a challenge, allowing players to continue working toward its rewards after unsuccessful attempts.
Metta World Peace’s addition continues Dunk City Dynasty’s use of recognizable NBA players and personalities alongside its 3v3 streetball gameplay.
