LG xboom Power Series turns party speakers into AI-powered karaoke setups

LG Electronics is expanding its party speaker lineup with the LG xboom Power Series, putting AI-powered karaoke and interactive features at the center of its latest high-output speakers.

The new lineup consists of the xboom Power 9000, Power 7000 and Power 5000, with continuous output ranging from 260W to 440W depending on the model.

Beyond louder playback, LG is positioning the series around karaoke and group participation, with features such as AI Karaoke Master, AI Vocal Remover, Key Changer and Multicolor AI Lighting designed to make it easier for guests to join in.

Three xboom speakers for different party sizes

The LG xboom Power 9000 sits at the top of the lineup, delivering 440W of continuous output for larger gatherings and outdoor events.

The Power 7000 produces 340W and is designed for larger indoor gatherings, patios and outdoor entertainment.

Meanwhile, the Power 5000 delivers 260W in a more compact setup aimed at family gatherings and smaller celebrations.

All three models use LG’s xboom Signature Sound, tuned with input from multiple Grammy Award-winning artist and producer will.i.am.

AI turns existing songs into karaoke tracks

The biggest differentiator across the lineup is LG’s AI Karaoke Master, which lets users turn songs from their existing music libraries into karaoke tracks.

Its AI Vocal Remover uses AI to remove vocals from songs, while Key Changer adjusts the pitch to accommodate different vocal ranges.

LG says the system can be activated with a single touch and does not require users to find dedicated karaoke versions of songs.

Each speaker also includes dual microphone inputs, allowing two people to perform together.

The speakers come with a Smart Stand that can hold a smartphone or tablet, giving singers a convenient way to follow lyrics during performances.

Party lighting joins the performance

LG is also building the visual side of the experience into the speakers.

The Power Series features Multicolor AI Lighting and DJ Performance Effects, allowing the lighting to respond to the party atmosphere while users play music or perform karaoke.

The combination is intended to turn the speakers into more than conventional audio equipment, particularly for gatherings where guests are actively participating rather than simply listening.

Sound adapts to the room

The Power Series also includes several technologies designed to adjust the listening experience according to the environment.

AI Sound analyzes the music genre and adjusts audio settings accordingly, while Space Calibration Pro optimizes sound based on the size and layout of the surrounding space.

Sound Field Enhance expands the perceived soundstage, while Auracast allows compatible LG xboom speakers to connect and play synchronized audio for larger events.

That gives users the option to scale up the audio setup when a single speaker is not enough to cover a larger gathering.

“The best parties are the ones where people participate, not just listen,” said Lee Jeong-seok, head of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company’s Audio Business.

The LG xboom Power Series became available in select markets starting August 17, 2026.

LG has not provided universal pricing or availability details in the announcement, with specifications and pricing varying by market.
