HONOR Magic V6 takes on 1-ton aircraft in extreme durability test

HONOR Philippines is putting its latest foldable smartphone through an unconventional series of durability tests, with the HONOR Magic V6 taking on an aircraft weighing approximately one ton.

The durability demonstration, held on August 11, subjected the foldable to a controlled aircraft-pull test designed to put its structural strength and engineering to the test.

The stunt highlights HONOR’s efforts to combine the slim design of a foldable smartphone with the durability needed to withstand more demanding conditions.

HONOR Magic V6 takes on more extreme challenges

The aircraft-pull test was not the only durability challenge prepared for the Magic V6.

HONOR also brought the foldable to a lat pulldown activation, turning the familiar strength-training exercise into another test of the device’s structural resilience.

Water was also part of the demonstration. The Magic V6 was dipped into a swimming pool to showcase its resistance in an environment involving water.

Together, the demonstrations were designed to give consumers a look at the durability engineered into HONOR’s latest foldable beyond typical everyday use.

Flagship features in a slim foldable

Beyond its durability demonstrations, the HONOR Magic V6 combines a large foldable display with flagship performance and AI capabilities.

The device also features high-resolution cameras and a high-capacity battery, all housed in a slim foldable form factor.

HONOR has yet to officially launch the Magic V6 in the Philippines, with the company encouraging consumers to stay tuned for more details about its upcoming flagship foldable.
