realme Mobile Legends Cup is back for its 8th season of making legends
SM North Edsa Annex Event Center will host the RMC Season 8 on-ground qualifiers starting on May 25.

With its eighth season, the realme Mobile Legends Cup (RMC), recognized as the nation’s largest and longest amateur Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event made possible by a smartphone manufacturer, is returning to carry on its legend-making tradition. Teams looking to prove their mobile gaming superiority and enter the national esports market can now register.

To recap, realme concluded Season 7 with a massive prize pool of one million pesos. Pegaxy and Smart Omega Empress from Z4 Esports were acclaimed as winners in their respective classes. On the other hand, as the first-ever winner of the RMC’s first Women’s League, Smart Omega Empress created history.

Last season, realme upped the ante even more by officially joining the Philippine Esports Organization (PESO). The victorious squad advanced to the qualifiers for the International Esports Federation World’s Esports Championship in Romania as part of a partner competition.

Driven by the commitment to keep offering top-tier players a stage, teams consisting entirely of men, all women, or mixed genders are now eligible to compete in Season 8 of the RMC. With an official season opener in 2024 thanks to a partnership with SM Cyberzone Challenger Series, this new edition is expected to reach legendary status.

The on-ground qualifiers for RMC Season 8 will take place in the SM North Edsa Annex Event Center on May 25, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Teams have to compete to get into the quarterfinals in June by fighting their way to the top.

Come enjoy some enjoyable activities at the booth, and don’t pass up the chance to speak with and greet elite MLBB player John “H2WO” Salonga.

Teams need five players who are 15 years of age or older to qualify. All minors registering must have documented consent from their guardians.

All player teams that made it to the playoffs also had to follow the standard dress code, which is to wear slacks, closed shoes, and a shirt or jersey. On stage, sleeveless shirts, shorts, and slippers are strictly prohibited. Teams need to be ready to play in the qualification matches that the event organizers have scheduled for May 25, 2024, and they need to be available.

realme calls on all gamers to prove and test their skills by registering for Season 8 of the RMC. Teams can sign up through bit.ly/RMCS8RegFormSMNE until May 25 at 1 PM only.
