LG Unveils Razer Wolverine V3 Bluetooth at CES 2026
LG Electronics has officially revealed the Razer Wolverine V3 Bluetooth, developed in partnership with Razer. The controller becomes the first device certified under the new initiative and is positioned as the world’s fastest gaming controller.
The program debuted at CES 2026 alongside the announcement of its new “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” certification program, introducing a performance standard aimed at optimizing controllers for its cloud gaming ecosystem.
Ultra-Low Latency Bluetooth for Cloud Gaming
The Wolverine V3 Bluetooth is the first controller globally to adopt ultra-low latency Bluetooth technology designed specifically for TV-based cloud gaming. According to LG and Razer, the device delivers a response time of under 3 milliseconds, enabling faster inputs and more precise control during gameplay.
In addition to its wireless performance, the controller integrates TV navigation controls and pro-grade gaming features, offering seamless compatibility with LG Smart TVs powered by webOS. The result is smoother gameplay with minimal lag, particularly important for fast-paced competitive titles streamed through cloud gaming platforms.
“Designed for LG Gaming Portal” Certification Program
LG’s newly launched certification program aims to ensure optimized latency, connectivity, and interoperability between gaming controllers and the LG Gaming Portal experience. The initiative seeks to standardize performance benchmarks for accessories used within LG’s expanding cloud gaming ecosystem.
By certifying compatible hardware, LG intends to enhance the responsiveness and reliability of cloud gaming on its TVs, reinforcing its position in the growing big-screen gaming market.
LG’s Expanding Gaming Ecosystem
LG TVs have steadily gained recognition among gamers, particularly for display performance. Select 2025 OLED models became the first TVs globally to support 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming via GeForce Now, further strengthening LG’s appeal in the premium gaming segment.
Chris Jo, Head of the webOS Platform Business Center at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, said the certification of the Wolverine V3 Bluetooth allows gamers to fully maximize the quick responsiveness and decisive control needed for high-intensity gameplay on LG Gaming Portal.
