HUAWEI has expanded the FreeClip 2 lineup in the Philippines with a new Berry Purple colorway, giving the open-ear earbuds a more fashion-focused option while retaining the same audio and comfort features.
The new variant is priced at ₱9,999 and is available through HUAWEI’s online and offline channels, with launch offers worth up to ₱1,478.
FreeClip 2 uses an open-ear C-bridge design
The FreeClip 2 uses HUAWEI’s Airy C-Bridge Design, which attaches the earbuds around the ear instead of sealing the ear canal.
Each earbud uses a shape-memory alloy designed to adapt to the user’s ear. HUAWEI says the design provides a lightweight fit while keeping the earbuds secure during movement.
The open-ear setup also lets users remain aware of their surroundings while listening to music or other audio.
Adaptive audio and clearer calls
The FreeClip 2 uses an NPU AI processor and dual-diaphragm driver to support Adaptive Open-Ear Listening, adjusting audio output based on the surrounding environment.
For calls, its Crystal Clear Call system combines three microphones with bone-conduction sensors to reduce background noise and improve voice clarity in busier environments.
The earbuds also support gesture-based controls for music and calls. Smart Head Control allows users to accept or reject calls through a nod or head shake.
Up to 38 hours with the charging case
The FreeClip 2 carries an IP57 rating for resistance to dust and water under the applicable testing conditions, making it suitable for workouts and outdoor use.
HUAWEI claims up to 38 hours of battery life when combined with the charging case. A 10-minute quick charge can provide up to three hours of playback.
The earbuds are compatible with both Android and iOS devices and support switching between connected devices.
Users can also manage audio settings, controls, and connected devices through the HUAWEI Audio Connect app.
Berry Purple comes with launch freebies
The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 Berry Purple is priced at ₱9,999 in the Philippines.
Buyers can choose one of three accessory designs—the Butterfly, Star, or Snowflake—valued at ₱999. The package also includes a one-year HUAWEI Loss Care plan worth ₱479.
Together, the complimentary offers have a stated value of up to ₱1,478.
