Evo Singapore 2027 has opened player registrations and ticket sales ahead of its inaugural event, bringing the long-running fighting game festival to Singapore from January 15 to 17, 2027.
The event will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre and feature five tournament titles competing for a minimum guaranteed prize pool of US$125,000.
Evo Singapore will also host the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals, adding another major tournament to the three-day fighting game event.
Evo Singapore 2027 lineup includes five games
The inaugural Evo Singapore tournament lineup will feature five fighting games: Street Fighter 6 from Capcom, TEKKEN 8 from Bandai Namco Entertainment, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls from Sony Interactive Entertainment, Guilty Gear -Strive- from Arc System Works, and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising from Cygames.
TEKKEN 8 will also serve as the Last Chance Qualifier for the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals, giving competitors another route into the season-ending event.
Players can register for the tournaments through start.gg. Tournament registration is separate from event admission, so competitors will also need to secure an event ticket to attend.
TEKKEN World Tour Global Finals adds another major tournament
The TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals will run alongside Evo Singapore, with a separate US$300,000 prize pool.
The competition begins with group stages on January 14 and 15, followed by the Last Chance Qualifier on January 16 and the final bracket on January 17.
The TWT Global Finals bring together the season’s highest-scoring TEKKEN 8 players after a year of tournaments around the world.
The tour has been organized by Bandai Namco Entertainment since 2017.

Evo Singapore has named Trip.com as its official ticketing partner and exclusive ticketing platform for both Evo Singapore and the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals.
Fans can purchase standalone event tickets or packages that include accommodations and other options.
The event itself will run from January 15 to 17, while the TWT Global Finals begin one day earlier with their group stages.
Evo Singapore expands beyond tournament matches
Beyond the tournament brackets, Evo Singapore will also feature activities aimed at the wider fighting game community.
The event will include the Evo Museum, with a new exhibit covering the history of the TEKKEN World Tour, alongside flash tournaments featuring legacy fighting games. Attendees can also join the Evo Friday Night Showdown presented by Visa, meet players, developers, and TWT talent, and use casual play areas throughout the weekend.
The broader program will also feature an Evo Arcade Zone with classic and modern arcade cabinets, a cosplay exhibition and meetups, vendors and merchandise, and BYOC (Bring Your Own Community) spaces for community-run tournaments.
These activities give attendees options beyond the official competitions, covering arcade gaming, cosplay, community-run events, and opportunities to meet players and developers.
Evo brings its global fighting game festival
Singapore already has a history within the fighting game community, including hosting major regional competitions and being home to Evo champion Xian.
Evo General Manager Rick Thiher said the inaugural Singapore event builds on that local fighting game history while bringing both Evo and the TEKKEN World Tour finals to the city.
The event will also be streamed globally through Evo’s Twitch and YouTube channels, with coverage of the TWT Global Finals and daily Evo tournament programming.
With its first Singapore edition, Evo is expanding its established open-invite fighting game festival into Southeast Asia while pairing its tournament lineup with one of the year’s biggest TEKKEN competitions.
