Epson led four professional printing categories across ASEAN in 2025, according to market research firm International Data Corporation (IDC), with the company also posting gains in several Philippine printer segments.
The company ranked first across the region in Large Format Printing, Graphic Textile, Photo Graphic (Aqueous Ink), and Signage categories for calendar year 2025.
Epson’s strongest regional position came in Graphic Textile printing, where it held a 45.6% market share, up from 43% in 2024.
Epson raises large-format printing share to 21.1%
Epson held a 21.1% share of the ASEAN Large Format Printing market in 2025, increasing from 19.2% a year earlier.
The company recorded particularly strong shares in several Southeast Asian markets. In the Philippines, Epson held a 26.9% share, up 4.7 percentage points from the previous year. It also held 28.3% in Thailand and 23.2% in Indonesia.
Epson’s reported shares in Singapore and Malaysia stood at 32.8% and 16.8%, respectively.
The category covers large-format applications including computer-aided design and graphics printing, where Epson says its printers are aimed at precision and high-quality output.

Graphic textile remains Epson’s strongest ASEAN category
Epson’s largest reported regional share came from Graphic Textile printing, where it held 45.6% of the ASEAN market in 2025.
That represented an increase from 43% in 2024.
The company held particularly large shares in Singapore at 60%, Indonesia at 59.1%, and the Philippines at 54.6%. Its share in Thailand stood at 25.3%.
Epson has expanded its textile printing portfolio with products such as the SureColor F9530, while also investing in industry research and education.
The company participated in ITMA 2025 in Singapore and released a whitepaper examining digital textile printing trends in Southeast Asia.
Epson keeps No. 1 position in photo printing

Epson also retained its leading position in ASEAN’s Photo Graphic (Aqueous Ink) category, with a regional market share of 22.3%.
The company was also the leading brand in several individual markets, including Singapore at 56.8%, Indonesia at 32.2%, Thailand at 27.9% and Malaysia at 23.6%.
Products including the SureColor P9530 and SureColor P6530E form part of Epson’s large-format photo printing lineup.
The company says its aqueous ink technology is designed for professional photo applications requiring detailed output and color reproduction.
Signage share grows despite smaller regional lead
Epson’s position in the ASEAN Signage category also improved in 2025. The company increased its regional market share from 10.5% in 2024 to 11.1% in 2025, according to IDC.
Epson attributed part of the growth to three signage printers introduced during the year: the SureColor S7130, S8130 and S9130.
The company also reported increased shares in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, reaching 54.5%, 37.5% and 22%, respectively. Epson said the new S Series contributed to upgrades and conversions among existing users seeking improved performance.
Philippines remains an important market
The Philippines posted notable figures across Epson’s reported categories. The company held a 26.9% share of the country’s Large Format Printing market and 54.6% of Graphic Textile printing, according to the IDC data cited by Epson.
The gains form part of Epson’s broader ASEAN performance, where the company is using new printer models and different ink technologies to target professional applications ranging from design and photography to textiles and signage.
The regional recognition covers CY2025, rather than Epson’s current market position in 2026.
