MANILA — Acer has announced the Predator League 2027 qualifiers in the Philippines, opening a path for local esports teams to compete in VALORANT and League of Legends. The Philippine competition carries a total prize pool of Php 1 million and will determine which teams represent the country at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2027 Grand Finals in Vietnam.
The announcement gives esports teams the chance to compete, prove their skills, and push beyond their limits. The two announced titles have separate schedules and prize allocations, while the champions of both games will advance to the regional Grand Finals.
Two titles, one shared prize pool
The competition will feature tactical first-person shooter VALORANT and multiplayer online battle arena title League of Legends. Each game will have Php 500,000 in prizes, according to Acer.
For both titles, the champion will receive Php 200,000, while the runner-up will take Php 120,000. Third- and fourth-place finishers will each receive Php 50,000. Teams finishing from fifth through eighth place will each earn Php 20,000.
The prize structure applies separately to VALORANT and League of Legends. Beyond the local awards, Acer says the champions of both games will earn the right to represent the Philippines at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2027 Grand Finals, scheduled for January 2027 in Vietnam.
Registration and competition schedule
Registration for the Predator League 2027 qualifiers is open until October 15. The VALORANT open qualifier is scheduled for October 17, followed by its group stage on October 24 and 25. Its online playoffs are set for November 7.

Philippine route to the Asia Pacific finals
The local competition gives Philippine teams a defined qualification route to the regional event. Acer Philippines Managing Director Sue Ong-Lim said, “We believe every player has the potential to go beyond their limits.” She added that the Predator League provides esports players with a platform to grow and take the next step in their esports journey, while expressing interest in seeing which teams will represent the Philippines internationally.
Acer was founded in 1976 and has a presence in more than 160 countries. The company’s offerings include computers and displays, while it is also branching out into new businesses. Its broader business background places the Philippine competition within Acer’s wider technology portfolio, without changing the announced game titles, schedule, or qualification route.
Acer said updates will be available through Predator Gaming Philippines on Facebook and the official Predator League website.
