vivo Club launches campus tour at NU with dance competitions, student creatives

vivo Club kicked off its campus tour at National University (NU) on September 13, joining the National University Dance Company (NUDC): The Dawgpound for the group’s fourth anniversary celebration at NU Nazareth School’s St. Candida Hall.

Supported by vivo Philippines, the event brought together student dancers, choreographers, and creatives from different institutions, with competitions spanning open-style battles, choreography showcases, and crew performances.

The NU event also marked the first campus-tour activation led by vivo Club’s Gen V fellows and core team, who helped organize the event and interact with students throughout the celebration.

Three dance competitions headline first campus stop

The event featured three competition categories designed to highlight different approaches to dance and performance.

The Yard hosted a 1-vs.-1 open-styles battle, while The Den focused on solo, duo, and trio choreography. The Pack brought together 8–12-member crews for a mini crew competition.

AJA won The Yard, with SLHENDERMAN finishing as the finalist. Ash took the top spot in The Den, followed by Ellin Imperial and Duttyvybazz. Undefined Crew won The Pack, with Full Artist’e Dance Company and Outlaws Alliance Dance Crew placing next.

Undefined Crew also received the vivo Club Choice Award for its performance during the event.

Gen V fellows take on first major campus activation

For vivo Club’s Gen V fellows, the NUDC anniversary served as their first major opportunity to represent the community through a live campus event.

The fellows and core team were involved in preparing the activation and connecting with participating students, giving them a more hands-on role in shaping the experience rather than simply attending as guests.

The approach is part of vivo Club’s effort to create activities around student interests while giving its fellows opportunities to collaborate with peers and other young creatives.

vivo brings its latest devices to the campus event

Technology was also incorporated into the event through an interactive vivo Club booth and photo experience.

The vivo X300 FE was featured at the vivo Club booth, while the vivo X300 Ultra powered the event’s photobooth, allowing attendees to capture and take home photos from the celebration.

With its first NU stop completed, vivo Club is set to continue its campus tour with activities built around youth culture, creativity, and student communities.
