New Technology Coming from CES 2018 (Part 1)

The future is now, a glimpse of some of the latest tech from CES 2018

Las Vegas Nevada USA, – The latest Edition of the much awaited international technology expo where the top tier manufacturers form different parts of the world convene to show off the latest innovation and technology has come to pass.
There’s a lot of new ideas to absorb and digest form all the different brands and manufacturers. We will taking a look of some of the one we think will be hitting the market in the not too distant future.
Transportation:
The Automotive/transport industry has been increasingly present in the show thru out the recent years showing that the line separating the good old automobile and the rest of the tech world has totally been erased.

Toyota announce during the event their concept of the e-Pallete an autonomous driving vehicle which is like a mini bus which autonomously drives around and ferries people to one point to another and can be used a logistics solution to transport goods from the manufacturing site to the different distribution hubs to finally the end user customer using the right size of the vehicle for the right application.

This concept is not just for moving people and materials around but based on what was shown at the Expo it is an entirely different eco system using the e-Pallete as the platform of choice.
Mobile Computing:

Razer which known for their cutting edge and ultra portable gaming laptops showcased “Project Linda” it like a laptop dock that will be using their smart phone to be the processor of the unit. It is a quite a very good innovation since the processors of the mobile phones are exponential becoming faster and more powerful.

Another eagerly awaited technology innovation was showcased by Vivo, the mobile phone manufacturer showcased the touch screen finger print scanner. Vivo showcased a very innovative sensor which uses light o be able to read finger prints of the user. we hope to see this innovation in the market this year.
Gimbals:

DJI also showcased their latest gimabal the DJI Ronin S video stabilization gimbal. This offers the users the stabilized video shooting that more expensive gimbals have at a smaller more compact form. The gimbal can hols all the latest DSLR and mirror less cameras currently out in the market. DJI will be shipping out the gimbal by the 2nd quarter of 2018.
