Nope, I’m not talking about typing Amen on the wall of your Facebook friends’ wall.  Yes a lot of our friends do ask nicely to meekly comply with such a humble request, and it’s quite moving to see a lot of, somewhat compelling or sometimes graphic display of faith, pictures posted or shared in our virtual walls.

Though this trend is not completely a detriment to acts of faith, we can certainly find more meaningful and more effective ways to show our faith and most importantly, practice it! Living a pious life can be very difficult especially during this times. Our attention has become short and our lives have been increasingly complicated. Time for prayer is slowly being neglected in our day to day lives.

Technology can help us in a huge way to reconnect to our inner longing to talk and be intimate with God in prayer. Yes typing Amen is okay, but can we do more ? 😀

There is a huge treasury of prayers that are compiled for us by a great author and priest Father Chuck Belmonte. He is popular for a lot of spiritual reading books and of course the original paper published “Hand book of Prayers”. For the Latin Lovers out there you will be pleased to know that this book contains both Latin and English translations.

The better news is that it is now available on Android for you!
