First NBA smartphone by Cloudfone unveiled at the BTV All Star Festival

Basketball is life; a sport enjoyed and heavily patronized by Filipinos across gender, age, and walks of life. Fans all over the world share the same sentiments, and they want more – beyond what television viewing has to offer, taking the experience to a whole new level of action and fun.

Last weekend, Basketball TV (BTV), co-presented by Cloudfone, hosted BTV’s All Star Festival at the Bonifacio High Street Activity Center, in celebration of the 2017 NBA All Star Weekend. The weekend festivities included free viewing of NBA activities such as the All Star Rising Stars game and the All Star Saturday Night 2017 as they happen in New Orleans, Louisiana. Shoot-out games, skills challenges, 2-ball competition, various in-booth activities from NBA and NBA partners, and the appearance of NBA star, Kevin Martin. Aside from treating fans to watching games, participating in contests and exhibitions, and meeting and greeting Kevin Martin, several prizes and special discounts were also given away, including NBA merchandise, powerbanks, and accessories, and even Cloudfone smartphone devices. One of the biggest surprises was when Cloudfone, the official mobile partner of the NBA, together with Kevin Martin, awarded one lucky winner of the Cloudfone shoot-out challenge, a First-to-Own Gift Certificate, which entitles the holder to be one of the first owners of the Cloudfone NBA Edition smartphone.
