AFAD 27th Annual Gun Show wraps up

Gun enthusiasts and gun fans from all across the metro gathered at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall for the longest-running Defense and Arms show in the Philippines. 27th AFAD-Defense and Sporting Arms Show showcases the local defense and arms industry in the Philippines.

Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and PNP Officer-In-Charge Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa graced the Opening Ceremony of the 27th AFAD Defense and Sporting Arms Show on November 14, 2019 at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

“AFAD is using the show as a platform to educate people about responsible gun ownership as we join the government’s efforts to fight the proliferation of illegal guns,” said Topacio. “Also, enthusiasts can bring their families, as well, as we have lined up programs and activities for wives and children.”

Aside from the product displays, the AFAD, in collaboration with the Philippine National Police, has lined up seminars and educational programs on self-defense, responsible gun ownership, firearms safety handling, regulation policy on gun-ownership and other exciting activities.
