Xsolla Showcases New Platform Vision at GDC 2026

Xsolla announces its participation in the Game Developers Conference (GDC) Festival of Gaming 2026, which will take place from March 9 to 13 around the Moscone Center.

During the event, the global video game commerce company will introduce a reimagined platform vision alongside new tools designed to help developers strengthen player relationships, expand globally, and build sustainable businesses.

The announcement accompanies Xsolla’s refreshed brand identity and expanded product ecosystem, which place direct-to-consumer commerce, intelligent payments, and player engagement at the center of its strategy.

According to Berkley Egenes, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at Xsolla, the industry is evolving beyond simply launching games. Developers now need greater control over their audience, player data, and revenue streams. The company’s rebrand reflects its push to provide tools that help studios achieve greater independence, smarter monetization strategies, and stronger long-term player relationships.

Expanded Global Payment Options

As part of its platform expansion, Xsolla has added seven new localized payment methods across 18 markets throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. These payment options integrate directly with the company’s Pay Station platform, allowing developers to accept regional payment preferences and currencies while maintaining a single unified integration.

The expansion aims to improve conversion rates, reduce checkout friction, and build trust among players in emerging and high-growth markets. Developers can scale globally while avoiding additional operational complexity.

New Reseller Program for Emerging Markets

Xsolla also introduced a new Reseller Program designed to help publishers reach players in regions where voucher systems, e-wallets, and alternative payment methods dominate.

The program connects game developers with vetted local distribution partners, enabling studios to expand into underserved markets without building their own regional infrastructure. Developers maintain control over pricing, product listings, regions, and partner eligibility, while Xsolla manages onboarding, compliance, fraud protection, and operational support.

This system replaces informal grey-market reselling with a transparent and official distribution network integrated into the company’s commerce ecosystem.

Unified SDK for Multi-Platform Game Commerce

Another major update is the enhanced Xsolla SDK, which now includes built-in integration for payments, login systems, product catalogs, and offerwall features.

With a single configuration, developers can deploy monetization systems across multiple platforms including mobile, web, PC, and direct-to-consumer storefronts without additional setup. Xsolla notes that its payment infrastructure—developed over more than two decades—has processed over $10 billion in transactions and is trusted by more than 60% of the top 100 highest-grossing games worldwide.

Introducing Xsolla Agency

The company also unveiled Xsolla Agency, a service that connects game developers with premium entertainment intellectual property (IP). The initiative focuses on helping studios secure licensing deals through expert negotiations and industry partnerships.

Through these collaborations, developers can launch themed in-game events, promotional campaigns, and live-service content designed to improve discoverability and increase player spending. The service is supported by Xsolla’s global commerce infrastructure, which currently powers more than 1,500 developers across over 200 regions.

Attendees of GDC can visit Xsolla at its booths in Moscone West and Moscone South, as well as the Xsolla Clubhouse located on Howard Street in San Francisco. The company will host live product demonstrations, networking sessions, and developer meetups throughout the event.
