Warframe Launches Worldwide on Android via Google Play
Digital Extremes has officially launched Warframe worldwide on Android devices via the Google Play Store.
The long-running free-to-play sci-fi title now supports Cross Platform Play and Cross Platform Save on Android, allowing players to squad up across iOS, PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch 2 edition is also set to arrive soon.
Cross Platform Play and Expanding Community
With the Android release, new and returning players can access the full Warframe experience, including its evolving storyline and recent updates such as The Old Peace.
Warframe currently features more than 85 million registered players worldwide. Since its open beta launch over a decade ago, the game has expanded from a single tileset and four Warframes to 20 planets, four open worlds, over 30 quests, and nearly 65 base Warframes.
Android users will be able to explore the Origin System alongside players on all supported platforms through unified progression and matchmaking.
Limited-Time Android Rewards
To mark the Android launch, Digital Extremes is offering exclusive in-game rewards.
Players who download and log into Warframe on Android by March 4 will receive the Cumulus Collection. This includes weapon and armor cosmetics along with resource boosters.
