vivo X300 Pro Showcases ZEISS Telephoto Camera for Long-Range, Night Photography
vivo is positioning the X300 Pro as a flagship smartphone built for long-range photography, highlighting its 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera as a key feature designed to capture distant subjects with enhanced clarity and detail.
The device targets mobile photographers who want to document landscapes, city skylines, and night scenes without losing texture or depth — a common limitation when shooting from afar.
In traditional photography, distance often results in softened textures and reduced image detail. vivo says advancements in mobile imaging technology now allow smartphones like the X300 Pro to bridge that gap through improved optical precision rather than relying solely on digital zoom.
Photographers Test Long-Range Capabilities
Makati-based photographer and content creator Nash Hadjula tested the vivo X300 Pro in Antipolo, Rizal, capturing mountain landscapes that appeared muted to the naked eye.
“What impressed me most was how much detail I could pull from a scene that looked far away,” Hadjula said. “It allowed me to capture the mood and layers of the environment without needing to get physically closer.”

According to Hadjula, the telephoto camera enhanced background definition while improving texture and subject separation, emphasizing the role of optical technology in elevating mobile photography.
Low-Light and Night Scene Performance
Photographer June Sarahina evaluated the smartphone’s low-light performance by shooting a condominium skyline at night. She noted that architectural elements such as balcony lines and window patterns remained visible despite strong light sources in the frame.
“Night scenes are tricky because highlights can easily blow out, especially when you’re shooting from a distance,” Sarahina said. “I was surprised at how the details in the buildings stayed intact even with bright light sources.”

She also photographed a fireworks display, observing that the device maintained sharpness in illuminated bursts while preserving clarity in the darker cityscape below.
Pricing and Availability in the Philippines
The vivo X300 Pro is priced at Php 77,999 and is available at vivo concept stores nationwide, as well as through the vivo e-store, Lazada, and Shopee.
The device is also offered via Globe’s All-New GPlan Plus 1799, which includes a free vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit.
vivo continues to expand its imaging-focused lineup in the Philippines, positioning the X300 Pro as a premium option for users seeking enhanced telephoto and night photography capabilities.
