Ultrahuman Pushes Smarter Health Tracking in PH Ahead of International Women’s Day

As International Women’s Day approaches, Ultrahuman is strengthening its focus on women’s health in the Philippines, positioning its Ultrahuman Ring AIR as a more precise and data-driven alternative to traditional period tracking tools.

The company says Filipinas increasingly want health technologies built around real physiological signals rather than calendar-based assumptions — a shift that aligns with the growing interest in wearable tech, fitness communities, and preventive healthcare nationwide.

A Smart Ring Designed for Continuous Tracking

The Ultrahuman Ring AIR is a lightweight smart ring engineered for 24/7 monitoring of key biomarkers, including skin temperature, heart rate variability (HRV), and resting heart rate. Designed with a jewelry-grade finish — including a brushed rose gold option — the device aims to blend seamlessly into daily wear.

Unlike many wearables, Ultrahuman does not require a subscription to access personal data, allowing users full visibility into their health metrics.

Moving Beyond the “28-Day Cycle” Assumption

Central to Ultrahuman’s women’s health push is Cycle & Ovulation Pro, which the company describes as the world’s most accurate ovulation tracking on a smart ring.

The system is powered by technology adapted from OvuSense, a clinically validated fertility monitoring platform trained on more than 260,000 menstrual cycles over 15 years. Instead of relying on projected calendar dates, the feature uses continuous physiological signals — particularly skin temperature patterns — to confirm ovulation based on real biomarkers.

Ultrahuman reports ovulation confirmation accuracy of over 90% in equivalence testing. The system is also designed to support women with non-textbook cycles, including those living with PCOS.

The Ring AIR is currently the only wearable offering Cycle Flags™, a feature that analyzes temperature trends to highlight potential irregularities such as early or late ovulation, short luteal phases, possible anovulatory cycles, or patterns that may be associated with conditions like PCOS. The feature is positioned as a wellness tool to improve awareness rather than a diagnostic or contraceptive solution.

Broader Women’s Health Integrations

Ultrahuman’s expansion into women’s health also includes integration with Clue, allowing users to sync up to six months of cycle history and combine it with real-time biometric data from the ring.

The company is also developing a Migraine Management PowerPlug in collaboration with Click Therapeutics. The feature aims to provide digital therapeutic support for migraine management — a condition that affects an estimated 15 to 20 percent of the global population and occurs in women at nearly three times the rate of men.

Growing Demand in the Philippines

In the Philippines, conversations around reproductive health literacy, hormone awareness, and preventive care are steadily gaining traction. The rise of boutique fitness studios, run clubs, and biohacking communities has also contributed to stronger demand for measurable health insights.

“As we approach International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our mission to build technology that reflects the reality of women’s biology,” said Mohit Kumar, CEO of Ultrahuman. “Women deserve health tools that are precise, adaptive, and built around them — not assumptions.”

With its combination of continuous biometric tracking, advanced ovulation confirmation, and lifestyle-focused design, Ultrahuman is positioning the Ring AIR as a data-first wearable tailored to women seeking deeper visibility into their health.
