Tencent Games has outlined its full program for Game Developers Conference 2026, featuring more than 20 sessions across multiple tracks and summits.
The company will also host an interactive booth experience at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, highlighting technologies aimed at improving game development workflows, live-service operations, and player safety.
The showcase runs from March 11 to 13 at the expo floor, where Tencent will present a connected ecosystem spanning AI-assisted game creation, engine technologies, quality assurance tools, and anti-cheat systems.
AI Creation Tools and Engine Technology Take Center Stage
Among the featured technologies is VISVISE, Tencent’s in-house AI-assisted creation suite. The platform supports automated 3D animation generation, rigging, modeling, intelligent NPC behavior systems, and digital asset management, enabling development teams to streamline production pipelines.
Tencent will also showcase MagicDawn, an engine technology solution designed to enhance visual fidelity through global illumination, spatial audio, and advanced occlusion culling. The system remains compatible with widely used engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, and Godot.
Together, these tools reflect Tencent’s broader push to integrate AI-driven workflows into large-scale game development.
Focus on Fair Play and Quality Assurance
Tencent will also present its Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) system, which uses AI-powered detection models to counter evolving cheating methods across PC and mobile titles. The technology focuses on identifying hardware-assisted and AI-generated cheats, which have become more common in competitive online games.
Alongside ACE, Tencent’s quality platform WeTest will demonstrate automated testing solutions designed to support the entire development lifecycle. The service currently supports more than 1,000 game companies globally, providing stability testing, performance diagnostics, and QA support for live-service titles.

AI-Powered Content Production and Gameplay Systems
Tencent will introduce additional experimental and production-ready AI systems during the expo.
ASI World, short for Artificial Super Intelligence World, functions as a modular content pipeline capable of generating an entire strategy RPG project through automated narrative, environment, and asset creation workflows. The system aims to accelerate early-stage game development and prototyping.
Developers from MoreFun Studios will also demonstrate AI-generated Kung Fu motion systems, which dynamically produce martial arts animations designed to maintain fluid movement and high visual fidelity. The presentation will include AI companions capable of responding to natural language, offering more interactive in-game character interactions.
Developer Summits and Industry Panels
Tencent’s presence at GDC 2026 extends beyond the expo floor through several summit sessions and technical talks.
At the Tencent Games Developer Summit on March 9, engineers and publishing leaders will present case studies covering global marketing strategies, monetization systems, cross-platform audio production, and large-scale shooter performance optimization. Sessions will include technical insights from the development of Delta Force.
The Tencent AI Summit on March 10 will focus on deployable AI technologies already integrated into professional pipelines, including logic-heavy gameplay systems, scene generation tools, and AI-assisted production workflows.
Tencent will also contribute to official GDC program sessions, including a Machine Learning Summit presentation exploring the asset production pipeline behind Honor of Kings.
Player Safety and Sustainability Initiatives
Beyond technical development, Tencent will participate in the GameSafe Summit to discuss AI-driven anti-cheat operations and server-authoritative security systems for multiplayer titles. Sessions will also explore youth protection initiatives, including Tencent’s parental control and digital wellbeing programs.
The company will also join the Culture & Sustainability track panel discussing how environmentally themed in-game content can improve engagement and long-term player loyalty. The discussion will include insights from sustainability campaigns implemented in Honor of Kings.
Supporting the Next Generation of Developers
Tencent is also expanding its initiatives aimed at students and indie developers.
At its GDC booth, the company will highlight the Tencent Campus Drive program, which connects early-career developers with internships and graduate opportunities in game development and AI. Tencent will also support the Game Without Borders Game Awards and sponsor the Global Game Jam activation at GDC.
The company will additionally return as a sponsor of the Entertainment Software Association Foundation’s “Nite to Unite” event, which raises funds for scholarships and STEAM programs supporting future game developers.
