Rainbow Six Siege Unveils Year 11 Roadmap at Six Invitational 2026
Ubisoft revealed the full Year 11 roadmap for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege at the 2026 Six Invitational in Paris. The announcements highlight new operators, updated maps, competitive features, and anti-cheat improvements, with Season One: Operation Silent Hunt set to launch on March 3.
Year 11 emphasizes a renewed focus on the 5v5 core gameplay experience, while delivering new content, modes, and seasonal updates to maintain competitive engagement.
Season 1: Operation Silent Hunt Introduces Solid Snake
Season One debuts with Solid Snake, the iconic attacker from Metal Gear Solid. Snake brings stealth and reconnaissance to Siege, equipped with a new intel-gathering gadget and the TACIT .45 semi-automatic pistol with integrated suppressor.
A limited-time 4v4 Redacted event pairs Snake and Zero in an infiltration mission to recover stolen data. Players can also access themed operator skins, including Gray Fox for Jackal and Meryl for Ash, with David Hayter providing Snake’s in-game voice. A special mission, Last Assignment, serves as a nod to longtime Metal Gear Solid fans.
Season 1 also introduces a 1v1 Arcade mode for two weeks, focused on solo gunplay and high-intensity duels. Modernized versions of Oregon, Coastline, and Villa bring improved visuals and destructible elements. Following this season, the Dual Front mode will be retired to concentrate development on core 5v5 gameplay. Season 1 will include four balance updates, two Ranked map rotations, and a meta emphasizing Entry and Roaming with adjustments to Skopos, Alibi, and Ela.
Planned Updates for Seasons 2–4

Season 2 will feature an Operator remaster for Dokkaebi, redefined as a high-pressure intel-denial attacker with a new weapon. It will also debut the Calypso Casino map, inspired by Rainbow Six’s Vegas-era design, which will be available in Ranked play.
Season 3 will introduce a new Defender equipped with a counter shield, alongside a long-term progression system, Operator Mastery, allowing players to level each operator. A new 3v3 arcade mode and the Legend Division competitive playlist for solo-queue ranked play will also launch. Each season will include three modernized maps.
Season 4 will unveil a Social HUB, enabling cross-platform friend interactions and squad management, and feature a rework of the Hostage game mode designed for competitive play. Additional details for Season 4 will be announced later in 2026.
Anti-Cheat and Mobile Expansion
Year 11 also introduces R6 ShieldGuard Secure Platform, a new anti-cheat layer on PC to enhance competitive integrity.
Rainbow Six will launch globally on mobile on February 23 for iOS and Android. The mobile version will include over 20 operators, iconic maps like Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, and Villa, and modes including Bomb, Bomb Rush, Team Deathmatch, Ranked, Quick Play, and Private matches. Players can also expect seasonal updates, 5v5 gameplay mechanics, drones, barricades, cameras, and traps.
