OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series Opens Registration Across Southeast Asia
Organizers have opened registration for the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Campus Series, inviting university students across Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore to compete in a new regional collegiate tournament.
The event builds on last year’s OPPO Smooth Legend Cup, shifting its focus toward the campus ecosystem. It still aims to establish a structured competitive pathway for student players and recent graduates in Southeast Asia.
OPPO and MOONTON Expand Campus Esports Initiative
The tournament is organized through a collaboration between global technology brand OPPO and game developer MOONTON Games as part of MLBB’s Golden Month campaign.
“The OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series represents our shared vision of creating a sustainable esports ecosystem in Southeast Asia,” said Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games. “By combining OPPO’s innovation with MLBB’s thriving esports community, we hope to empower the next generation of players to create their own golden moments and inspire campus communities across the region.”
The partnership continues the companies’ joint efforts to host large-scale community-driven MLBB events following last year’s collaboration.
“We are excited to support the next generation of esports talent across Southeast Asia by providing a platform where campus players can showcase their skills, take pride in representing their universities, connect with the gaming community, and make their golden moments on the competitive arena of MLBB,” said Jiang Linlin, Asia Pacific Region Chief Marketing Officer at OPPO.
Tournament Format and Eligibility

The OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series is open to university students aged 18 and above. They will also welcome alumni who graduated within the past two years.
The competition will feature three stages:
- National Qualifiers
- National Finals
- Cross-National Finals
Registration begins February 20, 2026. Organizers have scheduled the National Qualifiers for the first to second week of March. The National Finals will be held in the second to third week of March.
The Cross-National Finals will take place from April 16 to 19 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Direct Qualification Pathway in Malaysia
As part of the collegiate esports development initiative, the tournament will collaborate with Malaysia’s MOONTON Student Leader Championship (MSLC) program. The winner of MSL Season 6 will directly qualify for the Cross-National Finals to represent Malaysia at the regional stage.
MOONTON Games said the pathway connects campus competitions to broader regional opportunities and strengthens long-term ecosystem development for MLBB esports in Southeast Asia.
