MU Online Rolls Out Season 20-2 Second Update Featuring Swamp of Destruction

WEBZEN has released the Season 20-2 Second Update for MU Online, adding a new high-level hunting zone, additional mastery equipment, progression adjustments, and limited-time in-game events.

The update for the famed MMORPG title is now live on PC servers.

Swamp of Destruction Opens as New High-Level Hunting Zone

The centerpiece of the Season 20-2 Second Update is the Swamp of Destruction, a newly introduced hunting area designed for high-level players.

According to the update details, the region was once connected to the Swamp of Peace via a broken magic circle and is now home to powerful monsters that pose a significant threat to the continent. The zone is positioned as a high-risk, high-reward area, offering challenging combat encounters and improved loot opportunities for endgame players.

New Mastery Gear and Progression Adjustments

The update also introduces the 8th Mastery Earring, the Earring of Frost, expanding mastery equipment options and providing additional stat enhancements to increase attack power.

In addition, WEBZEN adjusted the EXP curve to support faster leveling progression. A new EXP buff item, Blessing of Eunice, has also been added to help players grow more efficiently.

Limited-Time Events and Special Sales

To mark the update, MU Online is hosting a series of limited-time events, including EXP boost periods, Mastery Equipment and accessory enhancement support, Artifact upgrade opportunities, and ranking-based challenges.

Special update sales are also available, featuring item packages designed to assist with progression and equipment enhancement.
