MPL Philippines continue its third week with three teams securing crucial wins to strengthen their campaigns on Saturday.
Twisted Minds PH, Team Falcons PH, and Team Liquid PH all completed sweeps against AP.Bren, Smart Omega, and TNC Pro Team, respectively.
Twisted Minds edge past AP.Bren
Lance Aron “Lansu” Misa delivered a masterful performance as Twisted Minds secured their second win of the season against a struggling AP.Bren side.
The EXP laner posted a combined 3/3/24 stat line across Lapu-Lapu and Arlott in a series that stretched nearly 41 minutes. Miguel “Sionnn” Alcantara led the way in Game 1, recording an 8/1/5 performance on Zhuxin as Twisted Minds pulled away from the 14th minute onward, securing the second Lord and full map control.

Lansu’s heroics shone in Game 2, where his clutch Final Slash connected on Jan Carl “Shizou” Valdez and James “JamesPangks” Mendoza during the final base defense.
Despite JamesPangks’ efforts on Fanny to keep AP.Bren in the game, a failed Conceal play in the 13th minute shifted momentum fully in favor of Twisted Minds.
Twisted Minds improved to 2-3 and will face Team Falcons PH on Sunday. AP.Bren, meanwhile, will look to regroup ahead of next week.
Falcons soar past Omega
Team Falcons PH secured their third win of the season after sweeping Smart Omega in the second match of the day.
Veteran roamer Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo posted a 4/4/29 KDA with near-perfect kill participation across the series.

David “FlapTzy” Canon led a dominant Game 1, finishing in under 14 minutes with a flawless 5/0/3 performance on Arlott, denying Omega any access to key objectives.
Game 2 proved more competitive, with Omega nearly erasing a 10,000 gold deficit behind Kenneth “Netskie” Barro’s clutch plays on Claude.
However, Owgwen sealed the series with key positioning and a decisive Golden Hour ultimate on Marcel, allowing Falcons to pick off Omega one by one before closing the game in the 25th minute.
Now at 3-1, Team Falcons PH will face Twisted Minds next. Smart Omega, at 1-4, will aim to bounce back against ONIC Philippines and Aurora Gaming.
Liquid extinguish TNC’s flames
Team Liquid PH needed just under 28 minutes to sweep TNC Pro Team and extend their unbeaten run.
Veteran roamer Jaypee “Jaypee” dela Cruz earned Match MVP honors with a 3/2/16 KDA across Khaleed and Hylos.

TNC had no answer to Team Liquid’s aggression in Game 1, as Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno secured his signature Lancelot and delivered a 3/0/6 performance in a 13-minute win. Jaypee led all players in assists with 10, while Dave “Teddy” Viaña contributed four kills and three assists on Claude.
Game 2 followed a similar script, ending in 15 minutes. This time, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya took MVP honors with a 4/1/10 performance on Uranus, absorbing massive damage and disrupting TNC’s lineup.
TNC’s core duo of Justin “Zaida” Palma and Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales struggled to find impact, combining for just two kills as they failed to reach their power spikes.
TNC, now 1-4, will face Team Falcons PH and Twisted Minds next week. Meanwhile, Team Liquid PH, still unbeaten at 6-0, will take on ONIC Philippines to close out the first half of the regular season.
