MLBB Commits IDR 200M in MOONTON’s Largest Ramadan Initiative
MOONTON Games has pledged IDR 200 million through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) to support more than 300 children across Indonesia as part of its 2026 “Golden Month” Ramadan campaign.
Running from February 20 to March 15, the initiative marks MLBB Indonesia’s largest Ramadan charity effort to date. The funds will benefit children battling cancer and underprivileged youth through partnerships with three cancer foundations and a Jakarta-based orphanage. Assistance includes medical aid, school supplies, basic necessities, and communal iftar programs.
The 2026 campaign doubles last year’s IDR 100 million donation, which supported 130 children, reflecting the continued growth of the MLBB community and its expanding social initiatives in Indonesia.
Turning In-Game Actions into Real-World Impact

On February 21, MLBB introduced “BUKBAR Berbagi Kebaikan,” an in-game feature that transforms player participation into donation contributions. Through the “Berburu Kemenangan Bareng” event, players earn points by playing matches, watching videos, and completing in-game tasks. These accumulated points are then converted by MLBB into donation funds.
The system enables millions of Indonesian players to contribute to charitable causes during Ramadan without requiring direct financial donations, effectively linking everyday gameplay to tangible social impact.
Charity Livestreams Mobilize the MLBB Community
Complementing the in-game campaign, MLBB rolled out a series of charity livestreams featuring prominent Indonesian esports personalities and entertainers.
The first session on February 21 featured Setiawan Ade and Dean KT, combining competitive matches with live donation drives. A second stream on February 28 spotlighted RRQ Hoshi players Lemon and XINNN, drawing strong fan engagement. Together, both streams raised IDR 55,120,234 in donations.
The campaign culminates in a flagship showcase titled “BUKBAR LIVE: Ngabuburit Wars,” hosted by Opick and Syifa. The 5v5 exhibition matches will feature M7 finalists Nino and Hijume from Alter Ego, alongside esports personalities and creators such as R7, Setiawan Ade, Markocop, Celiboy, Winona Karamoy, and Bachrul Alam. Special guest appearances are also expected to further drive engagement and donations.

Beyond entertainment, the livestreams serve as direct donation channels, converting Ramadan viewing experiences into collective acts of giving.
Taking Golden Month Offline: “Road to Victory”
MLBB is also bringing Golden Month to communities on the ground through “MLBB Golden Month: Road to Victory!”
From March 13 to 18, branded gaming trucks will travel across Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya, offering:
- Mabar Arena: On-truck gaming stations where fans can gather and play
- Victory Takjil Distribution: Free takjil packages for commuters and residents
- Pop-up Challenges: Quick games and activities with exclusive MLBB rewards
The initiative blends competitive gaming culture with Ramadan’s spirit of generosity and togetherness.
Rooted in Community and Culture
Golden Month has evolved into one of MLBB Indonesia’s signature annual programs, reflecting the game’s integration into national and cultural moments. Indonesia remains one of MLBB’s largest markets, where the title has grown into a mainstream competitive platform and community hub.
“Indonesia is the heart of MLBB,” said Adhitya Pratama, Senior Marketing Manager of MOONTON Indonesia. “During Ramadan, we want that same passion to create real impact for children who need support the most.”
The 2026 Golden Month campaign will conclude with the formal disbursement of donations to partner foundations at the end of the program period.
