Logitech G debuts PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE with new click technology

Logitech has unveiled the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, a next-generation wireless gaming mouse designed to improve click responsiveness and precision for competitive play.

Positioned as part of its high-performance esports lineup, the device introduces a new click system aimed at reducing latency and giving players more control over input sensitivity.

SUPERSTRIKE system reduces click latency and adds haptic feedback

At the core of the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is Logitech’s SUPERSTRIKE technology, which reworks how mouse clicks are registered.

The mouse replaces traditional mechanical switches with a Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS), enabling:

  • Reduced click travel distance
  • Faster signal transmission to the PC
  • Real-time haptic feedback on activation

Logitech says this setup can cut click delay by up to 30 milliseconds, a meaningful improvement for fast-paced competitive titles where input timing directly impacts performance.

Adjustable actuation targets esports-level customization

The PRO X2 also introduces 10 levels of adjustable actuation, allowing users to fine-tune how much pressure they need to register a click.

Settings can be configured through Logitech G HUB, giving players flexibility to match their preferences across different games or roles.

Logitech developed the mouse in collaboration with esports teams such as G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, and Bilibili Gaming, reflecting its focus on competitive use cases.

HERO 2 sensor and 8 kHz wireless support high-speed gameplay

For tracking performance, the PRO X2 uses Logitech’s HERO 2 sensor, supporting:

  • Up to 44,000 DPI sensitivity
  • 888 IPS tracking speed
  • Over 88G acceleration

The mouse also integrates LIGHTSPEED wireless with an 8 kHz polling rate, ensuring minimal delay between movement and on-screen response.

This combination targets players who rely on precise flicks and micro-adjustments in competitive shooters and esports titles.

Lightweight build and long battery life for extended sessions

Weighing 61 grams, the PRO X2 follows the lightweight design approach seen in previous Logitech esports mice, prioritizing speed and reduced fatigue.

The battery delivers up to 90 hours of use, allowing extended play sessions without frequent charging interruptions.

Innovation through mechanics

With the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE, Logitech is pushing innovation beyond sensors and weight, focusing instead on input mechanics and click responsiveness.

As esports hardware matures, advancements like haptic feedback and adjustable actuation highlight a shift toward deeper input customization, giving players more control over how their hardware responds in high-stakes gameplay.

Logitech prices the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE at ₱11,945 and sells it in the Philippines through its official channels and partner retailers, including Shopee.
