LG Expands xboom by will.i.am Lineup at CES 2026 With AI-Powered Personalization
LG Electronics is expanding its xboom by will.i.am audio portfolio at CES 2026, introducing four new portable speakers designed for parties, outdoor adventures and everyday listening.
The collaboration with will.i.am builds on the success of earlier models such as Stage 301, Bounce and Grab. The 2026 lineup emphasizes AI-powered personalization, longer battery life and adaptable designs aimed at fitting different lifestyles and environments.
AI-Driven Sound and Smarter Interaction
Central to the updated xboom range is deeper integration of FYI.RAiDiO. This enable users to interact with AI-powered personas and DJs through two-way conversational features. Using a dedicated MY Button or the companion app, listeners can access curated playlists and location-aware recommendations tailored to specific moods and settings.
The speakers also feature AI Sound, which analyzes audio content in real time and automatically adjusts EQ settings to highlight vocals, rhythm or melody. AI Lighting synchronizes multicolored light effects with music playback, while Space Calibration Pro evaluates surrounding acoustics and optimizes output for consistent indoor and outdoor performance.
xboom Stage 501: Karaoke and Party Power

The xboom Stage 501 is designed for gatherings and karaoke sessions. Its AI Karaoke Master leverages deep learning trained on more than 10,000 songs to adjust or remove vocals and modify pitch without requiring specialized files or subscriptions.
The speaker offers up to 25 hours of playback with a 99Wh swappable battery and delivers up to 220W of output when plugged in, or 160W on battery power. A five-sided cabinet design supports multiple placement options, including vertical, horizontal, tilted and tripod-mounted setups. Dual woofers, full-range drivers and Peerless tweeters aim to produce a powerful, room-filling sound profile.
xboom Blast: Built for Outdoor Endurance

The xboom Blast targets outdoor users with up to 35 hours of battery life from its 99Wh battery. With 220W output and three passive radiators, the speaker delivers expansive sound in open environments.
Its rugged build includes edge bumpers and durability testing aligned with military standards. A side rope handle allows for easier carrying in crowded settings, while a rubber top handle offers additional portability options.
xboom Mini: Compact and Versatile

The xboom Mini adopts a compact cube form factor suited for kitchens, patios and portable use. It provides up to 10 hours of playback and incorporates Sound Field Enhance to maintain clarity in open spaces.
The speaker includes a Magic Strap for flexible placement, IP67-rated water and dust resistance, a built-in tripod mount and tactile controls for intuitive operation.
xboom Rock: Rugged and Share-Ready

Positioned for outdoor enthusiasts, the xboom Rock offers up to 10 hours of playback and is tested against seven military standards. An upgraded version of the previous XG2 model, it increases output to 6W for improved clarity in outdoor settings.
The speaker supports LE Audio Auracast for multi-device sharing, allowing synchronized playback across compatible speakers. A programmable smart button provides quick app access for easier control during activities such as hiking or camping.
LG says the expanded lineup underscores portable audio as a strategic growth segment, combining AI innovation, expressive design and performance enhancements tailored to modern listening habits.
