LG to Debut LG CLOiD Home Robot at CES 2026, Advancing Its “Zero Labor Home” Vision
LG Electronics will introduce its new home robot, LG CLOiD, at CES 2026, taking place January 6–9 in Las Vegas. The unveiling highlights LG’s expanding push into home robotics and its long-term vision of the “Zero Labor Home” — a future where technology minimizes daily chores and maximizes quality time.
A Home Assistant Built for Everyday Living
Positioned as an intelligent home assistant, LG CLOiD is designed to handle a wide range of indoor household tasks aimed at improving convenience and efficiency. The robot features two articulated arms, each powered by motors with seven degrees of freedom, enabling fluid, natural-like movement.
Each hand includes five individually actuated fingers, allowing the robot to perform delicate and precise tasks requiring fine motor control. The design reflects LG’s focus on creating a practical household companion capable of adapting to modern living spaces.
Intelligent Interaction Powered by AI
LG CLOiD’s “brain” is housed in a chipset integrated into its head, working in tandem with a display, speaker, camera and multiple sensors. This hardware setup enables expressive communication, natural voice interaction and intelligent navigation throughout the home.
The robot runs on LG’s Affectionate Intelligence technology, which allows it to sense its environment, respond intuitively to users and refine its interactions over time. Through repeated use, CLOiD delivers increasingly personalized assistance tailored to individual household routines.

Robotics as a Strategic Growth Engine
LG has identified robotics as a key pillar of its future growth strategy. To accelerate innovation, the company established the HS Robotics Lab under its Home Appliance Solution Company, focusing on strengthening core robotics technologies and product competitiveness.
In parallel, LG continues to pursue joint research initiatives and strategic partnerships with robotics companies in South Korea and globally to expand its capabilities in the sector.
Experience the “Zero Labor Home” at CES
CES 2026 attendees can experience LG CLOiD firsthand at LG’s booth (#15004) at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Demonstrations will showcase real-life “Zero Labor Home” scenarios, illustrating how intelligent robotics could reshape everyday household management.
With LG CLOiD, LG reinforces its ambition to make home living more efficient, intuitive and centered on what matters most — time well spent.
