Kickstart Ventures Backs Eezee in $5M Pre-Series B to Boost SEA Expansion
Kickstart Ventures has doubled down on its investment in Eezee, as the enterprise procurement startup secured a total of $5 million in its pre-Series B funding round.
The round was led by Korea Investment Partners, with participation from Wavemaker Ventures. The fresh capital will be used to accelerate Eezee’s regional expansion and further develop its AI-powered procurement software suite.
Thailand Expansion and AI Tool Development
As part of its growth push, Eezee has officially launched operations in Thailand, adding to its existing presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The company focuses on enterprise “tail-end spend” — long-tail, low-value procurement transactions that are often handled manually and remain fragmented across organizations. To address this, Eezee has developed AI-driven tools such as RFQBot and ProcureFlow, which aim to automate request-for-quotation processes and streamline purchasing workflows.
According to the company, its platform can reduce procurement cycles from days to minutes while delivering cost savings of 20% or more for clients.
“Procurement and supply chain workflows have changed little over the past four decades,” said Logan, CEO and Co-founder of Eezee. He noted that recent advances in artificial intelligence make it possible to rethink both the software layer and the physical movement of goods, combining automation with supply chain optimization.
Growth Amid Funding Slowdown
The funding round comes as Southeast Asia’s startup ecosystem continues to face tighter capital conditions, declining deal volumes, and increased scrutiny around governance and fraud risks.
Despite the broader slowdown, Eezee reported that the round was oversubscribed, signaling sustained investor interest in procurement technology and enterprise-focused platforms.
Dan Siazon, Managing Partner and Co-founder at Kickstart Ventures, said the company has demonstrated strong revenue growth alongside disciplined unit economics — a combination investors increasingly prioritize in the current funding climate.
Financial Performance and Profitability Targets
Since the first quarter of 2025, Eezee said it has posted consecutive quarterly growth, closing the year with 61% year-on-year growth. Its Indonesia and Malaysia operations have reached operational profitability, while revenue from RFQBot and ProcureFlow is projected to achieve six-figure annual recurring revenue by year-end.
With the additional funding, Eezee expects to reach group-level profitability in the second half of the year while continuing to scale across Southeast Asia and expand its AI product capabilities.
As enterprises in the region look to digitize procurement and optimize supply chains, Eezee is positioning itself as a key infrastructure player in modernizing back-office operations through automation and AI.
