Veteran roamer Jaypee “Jaypee” dela Cruz stepped up as the Cavalry’s commander once more, leading Team Liquid PH to a sweep over Twisted Minds to close out Saturday’s MPL Philippines action.
Jaypee tallied a combined five kills and 20 assists across two games while dying just twice, helping his team rise to the top of the standings.
Team Liquid PH retained Kim “Daiki” Sebanes in the gold lane in place of the unavailable Sultan “AeronShikii” Muhammad. Twisted Minds also made a change, bringing back Mico “Nosia” Capil to the starting five after fielding Lee Howard “Owl” Gonzales last Friday.
The back-to-back champions needed just 16 minutes in Game 1 to take control. Jaypee’s Hylos led the way with a flawless 1/0/9 KDA, highlighted by a game-winning Conceal play into Glorious Pathway that caught four Twisted Minds members.

Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya took over in Game 2, which ended even faster at 15 minutes and 15 seconds. The EXP laner recorded seven kills and six assists on Sora, including a triple kill in the 13th minute.
Twisted Minds mounted a valiant effort, contesting the first Lord fight as Michael “MPtheKing” Endino secured the objective on Leomord.
However, Daiki responded with a clutch performance on Harith, sealing the series with a decisive double kill inside the base to break through Twisted Minds’ defenses.
Both teams will be off on Sunday. Twisted Minds return on Friday to face Smart Omega, while Team Liquid PH prepare for a tough matchup against Team Falcons PH next Saturday.
