Infinix Expands MLBB Esports Partnership Across Southeast Asia

Infinix and MOONTON Games have expanded their partnership to strengthen the competitive ecosystem of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports across Southeast Asia.

Under the agreement, Infinix will serve as the Presenting Partner of the MPL Indonesia Season 17, the Title Partner of MDL Indonesia Season 13, and the Official Sponsor of the inaugural MSL Thailand Season 1.

The partnership marks a major regional push for Infinix, positioning the brand deeper within Southeast Asia’s mobile esports scene.

Strengthening MLBB’s Regional Ecosystem

The collaboration builds on previous partnerships between Infinix and MLBB esports in markets such as the Philippines and Malaysia. Through its expanded role, the company will supply tournament-grade gaming devices and support localized fan engagement activities across several leagues.

Infinix will also help power competitions across multiple regional tournaments, reinforcing consistent competitive infrastructure for professional players.

According to Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships for MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games, the collaboration plays a key role in maintaining competitive standards across leagues.

“MLBB esports operates one of the most competitive mobile esports ecosystems in the world, and maintaining consistent competitive conditions across them is critical. Partnerships like this ensure our players compete on infrastructure required for world-class mobile esports,” Cher said.

2026 MLBB Tournament Calendar

The 2026 MLBB esports season begins on March 20, when Infinix powers the opening matches of MPL Philippines and MSL Myanmar as the official gaming phone.

Additional tournaments follow shortly after:

  • March 27: Launch of MPL Indonesia Season 17
  • March 30: Start of MDL Indonesia Season 13
  • April 3: Opening of MPL Malaysia and MPL Cambodia
  • April 18: Debut of MSL Thailand

As part of the MPL Indonesia partnership, the season champions will receive the “KINGFINIX” title, highlighting the brand’s role in the competition.

Community and Fan Engagement Initiatives

Beyond professional competition, Infinix and MLBB Esports are also launching programs aimed at strengthening community participation and grassroots esports development.

These initiatives include fan club tournaments inspired by the MPL PH FANsiklaban, where supporters of official MPL teams compete using Infinix GT series devices.

The partnership will also introduce campus-focused activities such as gaming master classes and the Infinix Campus Cup, a regional inter-school MLBB competition designed to help students explore esports and gaming careers.

In addition, Infinix plans to integrate its AIoT devices into tournament environments to support game analysis and enhance broadcast segments.

Expanding Mobile Esports in Southeast Asia

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang remains one of the largest esports ecosystems in Southeast Asia, with professional leagues and community competitions spread across multiple countries.

Through its expanded partnership with MOONTON Games, Infinix aims to strengthen connections between professional players, fans, and aspiring esports talent while supporting the continued growth of mobile esports in the region.
