HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i Launches in PH with Strong ANC Ahead of Valentine’s Day
HUAWEI is positioning the FreeBuds 7i as a practical Valentine’s Day tech gift, highlighting its advanced active noise cancellation, immersive spatial audio, and long battery life.
The FreeBuds 7i features what the company claims is its strongest ANC offering in its price segment, targeting users navigating daily commutes, shared workspaces, and hybrid work setups.
Adaptive ANC and Real-Time Noise Reduction
The FreeBuds 7i is equipped with Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0, designed to automatically adjust to environmental noise in under 0.5 seconds. The earbuds deliver an average noise reduction depth of 28 dB and support up to 55 dB of full-range noise cancellation, helping reduce traffic rumble, background chatter, and sudden noise spikes.
An ultra-large 8 mm² rear vent and expanded air guide cavity aim to reduce ear pressure, improving comfort during extended use.
Spatial Audio and High-Resolution Sound
HUAWEI integrates Unlimited Spatial Audio with head-tracking technology powered by six-axis sensors, creating a 360-degree soundstage experience. The earbuds support audio transmission of up to 990 kbps and feature an 11 mm quad-magnet dynamic driver for enhanced bass and clarity.
Users can fine-tune sound output through customizable sound modes and a 10-band equalizer.
AI-Powered Call Clarity and Multi-Device Support
For calls, the FreeBuds 7i uses a six-microphone system with AI noise reduction and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) sensor. HUAWEI says the system can suppress up to 90 dB of background noise, with wind resistance of up to 9 m/s for outdoor stability.
The earbuds also support head motion controls for answering or rejecting calls, dual-device connectivity, and compatibility across both Android and iOS devices.
Battery Life and Durability
Each earbud weighs 5.4 grams and carries an IP54 dust and water resistance rating. The device delivers up to 35 hours of total battery life with ANC turned off, while a 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of listening time.
The FreeBuds 7i is available in black, white, and pink color options.
