HONOR showcases Robot Phone, foldables, and AI devices at MWC 2026
At Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, HONOR unveiled a wave of AI-powered devices and concepts that highlight its expanding ecosystem strategy, including a futuristic Robot Phone, the flagship foldable HONOR Magic V6, and new productivity devices such as the HONOR MagicPad 4 and HONOR MagicBook Pro 14.
The announcements form part of HONOR’s Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision and its broader ALPHA PLAN, which aims to integrate AI across smartphones, computing devices, and future robotics applications.
According to HONOR CEO James Li, the company’s roadmap focuses on combining intelligence and emotional awareness in AI-driven devices.
“With Human-centric as our lighthouse, we navigate the growth of AI through the two beams of IQ and EQ, bringing three forms of intelligence together,” Li said. “With three waves of the Alpha Plan, we now have all the components in place and we are driving this journey at full warp speed.”
Robot Phone previews embodied AI interaction
One of the most experimental concepts revealed at the event is the Robot Phone, which HONOR describes as a new type of smartphone that integrates robot-grade motion and embodied AI interaction.

Unlike traditional smartphones that rely mainly on touch and voice commands, the concept introduces physical motion and expressive interaction. The device can follow users during video calls, respond with expressive gestures such as nodding or shaking its head, and even move in rhythm with music.
The system combines multimodal perception, enabling it to detect sound, track motion, and maintain visual awareness. HONOR says the goal is to create a more natural interaction between users and AI-powered devices.
To enable this functionality, the company developed an ultra-compact micro motor paired with a four-degree-of-freedom gimbal system, allowing the phone to move and stabilize its camera with robotic precision.
The concept also includes a 200MP camera with three-axis gimbal stabilization, alongside features such as AI Object Tracking and AI SpinShot, which supports automated 90-degree and 180-degree cinematic rotations during video capture.
HONOR Magic V6 pushes foldable innovation
Alongside the concept device, HONOR introduced the HONOR Magic V6, its latest flagship foldable smartphone.

The device features an 8.75mm folded thickness and integrates HONOR’s latest silicon-carbon battery technology, enabling a 6,660mAh battery while maintaining a slim profile.
HONOR developed the battery with partner ATL, using a fifth-generation silicon-carbon material with 25% silicon content to increase energy density.
The foldable also includes dual LTPO 2.0 displays, measuring 6.52 inches externally and 7.95 inches when unfolded, with 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rates and peak brightness levels reaching 6,000 nits and 5,000 nits respectively for HDR content.
HONOR says the new inner display reduces crease depth by 44% compared to the previous generation, while maintaining durability with SGS Minimized Crease Certification.
Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, supported by advanced vapor chamber cooling to maintain sustained performance for multitasking, gaming, and productivity.
MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14 expand the AI ecosystem
Beyond smartphones, HONOR also introduced two new AI-powered productivity devices.
The HONOR MagicPad 4 tablet features a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform. The tablet measures 4.8mm thin and supports AI-enhanced multitasking tools designed for productivity and creative workflows.

Meanwhile, the HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 laptop runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and includes a 14.6-inch OLED display, aiming to deliver high performance in a portable design suited for creative tasks and professional workloads.
Both devices support cross-device collaboration, allowing them to work seamlessly with other HONOR devices and even integrate with ecosystems such as Apple.
HONOR explores robotics beyond smartphones
HONOR also revealed its first humanoid robot, signaling the company’s ambitions to expand AI-powered technology beyond personal devices.
The company said its robotics research will focus on three main use cases: shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and companionship.
By leveraging data and ecosystem integration from its smartphones and connected devices, HONOR aims to create robots capable of recognizing users and providing personalized assistance.
Availability
HONOR confirmed that the HONOR Magic V6 will launch in select markets in the second half of 2026, with regional pricing and availability to be announced later.
The HONOR MagicPad 4 will be available in Grey and White in selected markets, while further details about the company’s other AI devices are expected to follow as HONOR continues expanding its ecosystem strategy.
