Cosmic horror takes over Call of Duty: Mobile as Season 3 — Paranoia launches on March 18, introducing a faster extraction mode, new Battle Pass rewards, seasonal events, and collaborations with NieR: Automata and Pop Team Epic.
The new season expands the game’s content lineup with the DMZ: Recon Quick Play mode, the MX Guardian shotgun, and the Tactical Mirror Battle Royale class, alongside limited-time events and cosmetic rewards.
DMZ: Recon Quick Play Debuts
Season 3 introduces DMZ: Recon Quick Play, a faster version of the extraction mode set on Serpent Island.
The mode places up to four squads into a condensed area covering the island’s northern points of interest, including Kurohana Base, Observatory, Port, Residential, and the Kurohana Ship.
To increase tension between teams, the extraction switch has been moved from inside the ship to an outdoor location. The change creates more opportunities for ambushes and counterplays as squads race to extract.
Pop Team Epic Collaboration Event
The bizarre comedy series Pop Team Epic joins Season 3 through a themed puzzle event starring Popuko and Pipimi.

Players can earn puzzle pieces by playing matches and completing challenges. Each finished puzzle reveals a comic panel, and collecting the full set unlocks rewards. These includes Pop Team Epic-themed Weapon Blueprint, weapon camos, emotes, calling cards, and weapon charms and sprays.
NieR: Automata Collaboration Returns
The collaboration with NieR: Automata also makes a comeback, giving players another opportunity to unlock rewards they may have missed during its first run.
The event places players in command of the YoRHa Unit as they push back against Machine Lifeforms through a branching progression path.
Rewards include Kui Ji, a YoRHa No. 9 Type S Operator Skin. It also comes with EMR 2, the Atonement of the Ancients weapon blueprint, and Four NieR-themed melee weapons.
Two themed Lucky Draws will also feature characters inspired by the crossover, including Kestrel — YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George — Commander White.
Spring Invasion Event
Season 3 also introduces Spring Invasion, a free event where players complete missions and daily logins to earn seasonal rewards.
Participants can unlock cosmetics such as:
- Crash — Spring Breaker Operator Skin
- Crash — Spring Fling Operator Skin
- “Stay Hydrated” avatar
- “Beach Time” calling card
The event runs from March 16 to April 5.
Season 3 Battle Pass
The Season 3 Battle Pass introduces both free and premium rewards with a sci-fi and cosmic horror theme.
Free tiers include the MX Guardian, a high-capacity full-auto 12-gauge shotgun designed for close combat. It also features the Tactical Mirror Battle Royale class, which lets squads duplicate high-tier loot and ammunition
Premium Pass holders can unlock Operator skins such as Jackal — The Teeth, Keegan — The Eyes, and Polina — Battle Prepped, alongside weapon blueprints including M13 — Chromatic Hivemind and MX Guardian — Active Containment.
Store Updates and Battle Pass Vault
The season also introduces multiple Cosmic-themed Lucky Draws, each pairing a legendary weapon blueprint with an Operator skin.
Meanwhile, the Battle Pass Vault adds the Spurned & Burned and Vintage Vigilance passes, allowing players to unlock items from previous seasons.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 3 — Paranoia launches globally on March 18 at 4 PM PT.
