AP.Bren ends MPL Philippines Week 1 as joint top-placers after securing their second win of the season against TNC Pro Team.

The Bees finally secured a win for the new hero Marcel, as roamer Denniel Denison “Nova_” Gomez tallied 12 assists and just three deaths on the support. Rising star jungler James “JamesPangks” Mendoza also delivered a Suyou masterclass, recording nine kills and four assists, including several game-defining picks against TNC.
The Phoenixes responded in Game 2, with Justin “Zaida” Palma posting a 4/3/4 line on Nolan in a tighter 22-minute contest. However, AP.Bren’s newest addition, Kiel VJ “Kielvj” Cruzem, proved his worth by leading an 11-minute onslaught with an 8/1/6 performance on Sora to seal the series.

Meanwhile, Team Falcons PH stumbled early as ONIC secured a close 22-minute Game 1 win. Jann Kirk “Kirk” Gutierrez’s Sora led the charge with four kills and a game-high 13 assists.
Marco “SuperMarco” Requitiano responded in Game 2, powering the Green Falcons to a 6/0/4 showing on Harith while maintaining control of the gold lead throughout the game.
Team Falcons PH doubled down in Game 3 to complete the comeback, closing out ONIC in under 15 minutes. David Charles “FlapTzy” Canon’s Sora proved crucial, finishing with a 2/1/8 line while effectively limiting the impact of Kirk and Clayton “Savero” Kuswanto.
After seven matches, AP.Bren shares the top spot with Team Liquid PH, with both teams sitting on two wins. Aurora Gaming, Team Falcons PH, and ONIC Philippines follow with one point each, while Smart Omega, TNC Pro Team, and Twisted Minds are still searching for their first victories.
