Infinix showcases GT NX Controller, Station at Manila gaming event

Infinix Philippines showcased its GT NX Controller and GT NX Station during a media and fan gathering at NAOS Esports Arena in Pasay City on October 9, giving attendees a chance to test the gaming accessories through hands-on activities and friendly competitions.

The GT NXperience event featured demonstrations of the two devices, including controller-based mobile gaming and gameplay extended to a television. Attendees also took part in a Fans vs. Media 1v1 Challenge featuring games such as BombSquad and Beach Buggy Racing.

GT NX Controller adds alternative controls

During the product presentation, Infinix Philippines Community Manager Willy Lloyd Cruz introduced the GT NX Controller as an accessory designed to offer additional control options for mobile gaming.

The controller supports Split Controller Mode, which allows users to separate the controls for shared play, and offers up to 22 hours of playtime, according to Infinix.

It also features a pixel-level FPS touchpad, providing another input method for games that require precise movement and quick reactions.

At one of the event’s gaming stations, participants tested the controller in a BombSquad 1v1 challenge. The activity gave attendees an opportunity to try its controls in a competitive setting rather than relying solely on a product demonstration.

GT NX Station brings mobile games to larger screens

The GT NX Station demonstrated another approach to mobile gaming by extending or mirroring compatible phone content to a larger display.

At the event, the accessory was connected to a television for a Beach Buggy Racing challenge, allowing players to compete on a bigger screen while spectators watched the action.

Infinix also highlighted the GT NX Station’s built-in thermoelectric cooling (TEC) system, which is designed to help manage heat during gameplay. The company described the cooling feature as an industry first.

The station’s screen-extension and mirroring functions provide alternative ways to use a compatible smartphone for gaming, including setups where players want to share gameplay with friends.

Blood Strike featured in GT gaming demonstrations

Infinix also featured its collaboration with mobile shooter Blood Strike during the gathering. At a separate experience station, guests played the game using the GT 50 Pro smartphone and GT NX Controller.

The demonstration connected the accessories with a specific mobile game, giving participants a chance to explore the controller’s use during fast-paced gameplay.

Other activities included a Fans vs. Media competition involving four randomly selected fans and four media participants. The event’s champion received an Infinix GT 50 Pro, GT NX Controller and GT NX Station.

Gaming creators Nami Onuma and Rain Pega also attended, with Chacha Pega serving as host. Participants took part in additional activities, including a photobooth, a customizable fidget-clicker station and a raffle featuring Infinix accessories and merchandise.

Infinix expands its GT gaming setup

The GT NXperience gathering highlighted two ways Infinix is expanding its mobile gaming ecosystem: the GT NX Controller adds an alternative input method, while the GT NX Station supports larger-screen gameplay and incorporates a cooling system.

The event also gave attendees a chance to try both accessories alongside the GT 50 Pro, moving beyond a conventional product presentation to hands-on demonstrations.

Infinix did not include pricing or general retail availability details for the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station in the event announcement.
