Actress and vivo celebrity ambassador Anne Curtis said the Anne Curtis vivo V80 experience centers on keeping a camera-ready phone available through travel, work and family activities. At the vivo V80 Grand Launch at Grand Hyatt Manila on October 30, 2026, Curtis discussed the phone’s photography tools, battery and dust-and-water-resistance ratings in a conversation with hosts KC Montero and Nicole Anderson.
Curtis said she values unplanned photographs as much as composed images of landscapes, city lights, sunsets and food. Her comments described a mix of planning and spontaneity when photographing while traveling.
“The best photos aren’t the ones planned, aren’t set up, aren’t pa-aesthetic. It’s the ones that come out naturally,” Curtis said.
Portrait settings and travel photography
The vivo V80 has a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera with ZEISS 85mm and 100mm Center-Stage Portraits, according to vivo. Curtis said she preferred the ZEISS 100mm Center-Stage Portrait option, citing its ability to isolate subjects and create a soft background.
“It’s so hard to choose one (between ZEISS 85mm or 100mm Center-Stage Portraits), especially when you’re in a crowded location. You kind of just want to make sure that you clean out the noise and make it a beautiful shot without too many distractions in the background,” she said.
