Aurora Gaming PH plants 60 narra trees in environmental initiative

Aurora Gaming Philippines planted 60 narra trees in partnership with the Million Trees Foundation on October 12, as part of an environmental initiative supporting reforestation and community engagement.

The activity took place at the Million Trees Nursery & Eco Learning Center, where Aurora players joined local community leaders and volunteers for the tree-planting effort.

The initiative brought Aurora Gaming PH and the Philippine nonprofit together for an activity centered on environmental protection and tree cultivation.

The group planted narra, the Philippines’ national tree, which holds cultural significance and is associated with the country’s natural heritage.

The activity also gave Aurora players an opportunity to take part in a community initiative beyond their competitive commitments in esports.

For Jan Dominic “Domeng” del Mundo, the activity offered an experience far removed from his usual life as a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player, giving him an opportunity to take part in an environmental effort for the first time.

“It’s a good experience, kasi first time ko ginawa ‘to. Hindi ko akalain na bukod sa paglalaro ko ng Mobile Legends, may mga ganto akong maeexperience. I’m so happy about it,” Domeng shared.

Aurora expands its community initiatives beyond esports

The tree-planting activity adds to Aurora Gaming PH’s reported community efforts in the Philippines, which include charity basketball games, educational programs in schools and community runs.

Through these activities, the organization has extended its involvement beyond esports competitions to initiatives involving local communities.
